Bill Belichick stands on the sidelines.

After a tumultuous offseason, Bill Belichick and the North Carolina football team will reportedly be the subject of a docuseries at Hulu.

Bill Belichick, UNC Football Series Lands At Hulu

When one television opportunity closes, another one opens.

Per Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, a docuseries featuring Belichick and his Tar Heel football program is “slated to be released” on Hulu.

EverWonder Studio will produce the series.

Per Disney, a deal on the project has not been closed for Belichick’s show at this time.

Details about the premiere date and title are unknown. However, Glasspiegel reports that the firm of Jordon Hudson, Belichick’s girlfriend, has registered trademarks for Chapel Bill (Bill’s Version), Do Your Job: (Bill’s Version), and No Days Off (Bill’s Version).

For those unfamiliar with the terms, the “Bill’s Version” is an ode to Taylor Swift, who recorded her albums and labeled them “Taylor’s Version.”

This is Belichick’s second attempt to bring a televised documentary series to North Carolina.

In February, Belichick was negotiating with HBO to bring Hard Knocks, the popular NFL docuseries, to Chapel Hill. Ultimately, HBO pulled the plug on the deal.

In April, The Athletic reported that Hudson played a key role in torpedoing the deal. Hudson allegedly requested to be heavily involved in Hard Knocks. Hudson is also the chief operating officer of Belichick Productions.

Hard Knocks was set to begin filming at North Carolina’s campus on March 1. Two days later, HBO pulled the deal.

Bill Belichick’s Offseason Garnered Headlines For The Wrong Reasons

For over two decades, Belichick ran a tight ship as the head coach of the New England Patriots. Belichick would never open up to the media, choosing to reveal as little information as possible. Belichick did not want to give his opponents any strategic advantage.

It’s hard to argue against Belichick’s antics, considering he won six Super Bowls with New England.

This refusal to release information makes Belichick’s offseason with North Carolina that much more puzzling.

During a CBS interview to promote his book, Belichick’s relationship with Hudson was brought up. Hudson, who was sitting behind the cameras, interjected and said, “We’re not talking about this.”

TMZ later reported that Hudson delayed the interview and became a “nightmare” to work with on set.

Public perception of Belichick and Hudson got so bad that North Carolina had to release a statement to support their head coach.

If anyone in America wants games to start, Belichick has to be at the top of the list. The sooner the games start, the quicker he can focus on football.
