The Cowboys did not win or lose in Week 4. Instead, they walked away with a 40-40 tie against the Green Bay Packers.
Dak Prescott has elevated his game to carry this Cowboys’ offense. Prescott leads the NFL with 1,119 passing yards, with 319 coming in Week 4’s tie.
Even without CeeDee Lamb, Prescott managed to keep the Cowboys in the game thanks to 436 yards of total offense. Dallas ranks first in yards per game (404.3).
However, the Dallas defense is another story. The Cowboys surrender the most yards per game (420.5), the most passing yards per game (297.3), and the second most points per game (33.0).
If the defense doesn’t improve, the Cowboys will be in shootouts every week.
For the Jets, it’s the same old story — turnovers, penalties, and missed opportunities. The Jets ran the ball at will — 197 rushing yards — in Monday night’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Jets running back Braelon Allen was one yard away from crossing the goal line before he fumbled the ball to the Dolphins.
First-year head coach Aaron Glenn was supposed to instill discipline and clean up the mistakes. Committing 13 penalties and three turnovers is going to lose you a lot of football games.
With Justin Fields back under center, the Jets accumulated over 400 yards of offense against Miami. However, turnover and penalties stalled several drives.
Both of these defenses are surrendering 30 points per game, so expect the offenses to have success.
This could be a classic letdown spot for the Cowboys. Look at what happened against the Bears following that emotional victory against the New York Giants. I’m hoping this line gets to 3 or 3.5. I’ll still take the home underdog in this situation.

Fields and this Jets offense should be able to move the ball against the Cowboys.
Against a much better Steelers’ defense, Fields threw for 218 yards and rushed for 48 yards.
You could go with Fields’ passing or rushing prop. I’ll go with passing because of the Cowboys’ weak secondary.
