Packers vs. Steelers: Game Information
Keisean Nixon was neither a starting cornerback nor an All-Pro kick returner when he came to Green Bay in 2022.
He was angry, frustrated & searching for opportunity in a new NFL world.

The Packers needed some late-game heroics to beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-23. Down 20-13, the Packers outscored the Cardinals 14-3 to pull out a victory.
Instead of kicking a field goal to tie the game at 23, the Packers converted a fourth-and-2 from the Cardinals’ 29-yard line to keep the drive alive. A few plays later, Josh Jacobs scored a touchdown to give the Packers a 27-23 lead.
Green Bay may have four wins, but the Packers have not played a complete game of football since Week 1. To make matters worse, the Packers are 0-3 ATS on the road this season.
The Packers boast a top-10 defense under Jeff Hafley’s β second in rushing defense (76.5 yards per game), sixth in total defense (288.5 yards per game), and 10th in scoring defense (20.8 points per game).
Besides averaging the seventh most points in the league (26.3), the Packers’ offense has been fairly average.
The lack of a true No. 7 wide receiver presents problems for the Packers, especially in crunch time.
The “Aaron Rodgers is washed” allegations should have disappeared after last week. Despite losing 33-31 to the Cincinnati Bengals, Rodgers finished 23 of 34 for 249 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Rodgers has thrown for 484 yards and six touchdowns over the last two weeks. Rodgers will definitely want to light up his former team through the air.
Surprisingly, it’s the Pittsburgh defense that has let the team down. The Steelers are 28th in total defense (374.7 yards per game) and 31st in passing defense (258.8 yards per game). The most expensive defense has to improve if the Steelers want to win the AFC North.
Mike Tomlin as an underdog is when you want to back the Steelers. Tomlin is 25-14 ATS as an underdog off of an outright loss, including 12-3 at home in those situations.
Tomlin’s team will be prepared at home. I like the Steelers to cover.
Pick: Steelers +3 (-115)
Packers vs. Steelers Prop
As mentioned above, Rodgers is throwing the ball like he’s 31, not 41.
The Packers’ run defense is second in the NFL, but the pass defense ranks 15th.
The last three quarterbacks who faced the Packers β Dak Prescott, Joe Flacco, and Jacoby Brissett β have all thrown at least two touchdown passes. The trend continues with Rodgers.
Pick: Aaron Rodgers Over 1.5 Touchdown Passes Rushing Yards (-122)
