Eleven (+104) is the new favorite on the list of Stranger Things characters to die, passing previous favorite Jonathan Byers (+525). As the most powerful character among Hawkins’ crew, Eleven will likely be on the frontlines of the battlefield in the Upside Down.
Eleven will have some help in the form of Kali, a survivor of Hawkins Lab who has been held captive by the military.
Fan-favorite Steve Harrington (+376) is listed right behind Eleven as a character who could receive a deadly ending. Steve has faced several Demogorgons and creatures from the Upside Down, escaping their wrath every time.
However, the latest trailer suggests that Steve and Dustin (+1567) will make a pact to keep fighting no matter what. “If you die, I die,” is what both characters say, a reference to a Season 3 line from Dustin.
Will Byers (+567) is now an interesting option because of what happened in Season 5, Episode 4. Will unlocked his psychic abilities and defeated several Demogorgons.
Similar to Eleven, Will can now use his powers to fight back against Vecna. However, this does increase his chances of falling in battle.
Other Stranger Things Characters in the Mix to Die
Jim Hopper (+1011) is always an option when it comes to picking a character to die. Hopper is always willing to sacrifice himself to save the others. At the end of Season 5, Episode 4, Hopper planned to blow himself up to destroy the lab. However, that never happened once he discovered Kali on the other side of the vault.
Derek Turnbow (+900) is a new candidate on the odds list. Dipshit Derek, or Delightful Derek, instantly became a hit in Volume 1. Derek is now one of the members of the clan, so he will likely play a role in the fight against Vecna.
