Every athlete has an origin story. For the vast majority of the 20,000-plus players who’ve suited up for at least one Major League Baseball game, that story began in Little League. And for a lucky few, their journey included a trip to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, which was first played in 1947.

Now, over the course of the past 75 years, many future big-leaguers have taken part in the various tournaments held around the world in an attempt to get to Williamsport. But for the purposes of this particular list, we’re only including those who played in the official Little League World Series in Central Pennsylvania.

And the list certainly isn’t extensive as just 64 players played in both the Little World Series and Major League Baseball.

How many MLB players also participated in the Little League World Series?
