If you didn’t get a chance to watch LIV Golf‘s recent tournament in Australia, you sure missed a lot.

Massive, raucous crowds showed up at Grange Golf Course to watch the Saudi-backed tour, Chase Koepka made an ace on the party hole to send fans into a beer-throwing frenzy, and Talor Gooch shot two straight rounds of 10 under par to set himself up for a wire-to-wire victory.

It was pure chaos in Adelaide over the weekend, and every golfer went home with a wad of cash afterward. Gooch, who banked $9.25 million in his entire PGA Tour career, won nearly half of that in one tournament with LIV Golf.

It was a pretty good week for Mr. Talor Gooch down under.

The American got off to a scorching hot start at LIV Golf Adelaide with two straight rounds of 10-under 62. His dominant performance over the first two days of the tournament gave him a 10-shot lead heading into the final round.

Gooch played conservatively in the final round and watched his massive lead shrink to one shot after 10 holes, but he closed with two birdies in his last eight holes to seal the victory by three strokes. For the win in the individual competition, Gooch took home a whopping $4 million. He also added another $375,000 in earnings because his Rangegoats GC finished in second place in the team competition.

In 121 starts on the PGA Tour, Gooch racked up $9.25 million in earnings. He banked nearly half of that in one day on the LIV Golf tour.
