Kylian Mbappé was delighted with PSG’s 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad on Tuesday and their qualification for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. He added that he had “no problem” with Luis Enrique as rumors swirl around the soccer world.
Kylian Mbappé, who scored two goals against Real Sociedad on Tuesday to become the Champions League’s joint top scorer alongside Harry Kane (6 goals), was pleased with his team’s performance in the second leg of their Round of 16 tie (2-1).

“We’re very happy. That was the objective,” he told Canal+. “We wanted to qualify, win, and make the match easier for ourselves. We scored quickly, we didn’t put ourselves in any real danger except at the end, but it’s not something we’ll remember. We shouldn’t have slept because 2-0 is a rather treacherous score. We’re delighted to be in the quarter-finals.”

Asked about his status at PSG, he replied, “I don’t have any particular message. I want to play in the Champions League. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t, but I’ll never be a player who hides. There’s no problem with the coach [Luis Enrique]. I’ve got problems, but the coach isn’t one.”
