Chris Jones Reveals The Person That The Kansas City Chiefs Cannot Win Without After Reaching Super Bowl 2025

Kansas City Chiefs captain Chris Jones has revealed the one person his side cannot win without after reaching Super Bowl 2025.
The Chiefs were able to see off the Buffalo Bills to secure a spot in their third straight title game with a 32-29 victory.
A big part of that success came down to the Chiefs’ tough defence in the final stages.
On fourth down on Buffalo’s final drive, the Chiefs sent a blitz that put pressure on Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
Allen’s throw fell through the arms of Dalton Kincaid – the second-year tight end from Utah – leading to the Chiefs reaching their third straight Super Bowl.
Chris Jones Names Person Key To Chiefs’ Success Ahead Of Super Bowl
After reaching Super Bowl 2025, Chris Jones said that defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo was a key to the success of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Spagnuolo is a name that has been thrown around as a potential future head coach in the NFL. Howver, Jones is keen for him to remain with the Chiefs.
“Um, as long as they continue to let Spags be our DC and not hire him as a head coach, we gonna continue to win man,” Jones said on SportsCenter after the game.

“For me, he’s one of the greatest assistant coaches to ever coach the game. You look at his resume, he’s got one of the greatest resumes and he finds a way to close man.
“Whether it’s dropping me and covering the tight end or whether it’s sending cornerback pressure at the end of the game, that’s what he’s known for man.
“He can dial up different schematics and different blitzes to affect an opposing quarterback. And he does a really good job at it.”
Spagnuolo, 65, coached at the college level at UMass, Lafayette, UConn, Main, Rutgers and Bowling Green. He also had two stints in NFL Europe with the Barcelona Dragons and Frankfurt Galaxy. In between those spots, he had a brief stay as the player personnel intern for the Washington Redskins.
In the NFL, he had coaching roles at a number of teams before joining the Chiefs in 2019.
Kansas City Chiefs Aim To Make History At Super Bowl 2025
Chris Jones and the Kansas City Chiefs are one win away from winning the Super Bowl for the third straight year – something which has been never done before.
They will face the Eagles in the Super Bowl – a rematch from 2023.
Kansas City needs to improve their run defense. Mahomes will also see heavy pressure as the Eagles attack opposing QBs.
Still, the Kansas City Chiefs have a significant edge in QB and coaching. Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will spend the next two weeks coming up with a plan to try and slow down Saquon Barkley.
That will be a tough task as Barkley has run for over 100 rushing yards in each playoff game.
