Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce waves to fans.

Jason Kelce has a tough decision to make in the Super Bowl this year, but he has admitted that he would much rather the Eagles won over the Chiefs despite his brother starring for Kansas City.

Former Eagle Jason Kelce backing Philly

As a former Philadelphia Eagle with a brother playing for the Kansas City Chiefs, Jason Kelce has a tough decision to make when it comes to who he will support at the Super Bowl this year.

In the latest episode of New Heights – Travis & Jason Kelce’s podcast – the brothers discussed who Jason would support when Sunday, February 9th rolls round.

“Here’s the biggest thing. Obviously, you’re my brother. I always root for my brother. That’s the reality of it,” the Eagles legend said to Travis.

“Even though I’m decked out in Eagles gear, I’m always going to root for Travis. But there’s a lot of people in the Philadelphia organization, whether it’s players, coaches, people in the building that feel like extended family to me, especially my former lineman, like Lane Johnson feels like a brother in a lot of ways.”

Jason was involved in the last Super Bowl between these teams in 2023 and he had his heart broken by Travis and the Chiefs who edged the game by three points.

Despite the loss, Kelce has won a Super Bowl with the veteran center playing an important part in Philadelphia’s 2018 win against the New England Patriots.

“I’m rooting for Philadelphia and I’m rooting for Travis Kelce. That’s the reality of it.” Jason continued, “no matter what on game day, I’m going to be happy for one of those sides and I’m going to be sad for the other side.”

“So, that’s a long-winded way of saying, I just want to see a good football game and whoever wins, I’m going to be happy for that guy.”

Despite his words on the podcast this week, an old video has emerged from before the season started with Jason Kelce clearly on Philly’s side.

Jason Kelce will be in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX and fans will be eagerly waiting to see if the former Eagle is donned in a Travis Kelce Chiefs jersey or an Eagles shirt on game day.
