NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium Entry List, Weekend Schedule

With the NASCAR Cup Series scheduled to return to Bowman Gray Stadium for the first time in 54 years, some circuit drivers have already competed at the small, regional track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The much-anticipated 2025 preseason showcase will be run on the historic quarter-mile asphalt track, beginning Saturday with practice, qualifying and heat races. The Cook Out Clash will be staged Sunday night.
Here’s a list of some top Cup drivers who have previously raced at the flat oval short track and their top finishes:
- Alex Bowman: 2011, ARCA East Series (P12).
- William Byron: 2015, ARCA East Series (P15).
- Cole Custer: 2013, ARCA East Series (P10).
- Chase Elliott: 2012, ARCA East Series (P6).
- Kyle Larson: 2012, ARCA East Series (P5).
- Ryan Preece: 2013, Modified Tour (P1).
- Daniel Suarez: 2014, ARCA East Series (P2).
- Bubba Wallace: 2012, ARCA East Series (P2).

- 6:10 p.m.: Cup Series Practice and Qualifying
