NBA Championship Odds: Who Is the Betting Favorite After the All-Star Break?
The 2022 NBA season is just starting to heat up, as contenders around the league are gearing up for a late-season push to the playoffs. There’s still plenty to be decided in terms of seeding in both the Eastern and Western Conferences.
With the NFL season coming to a close and the start of the MLB season still in question, you might be looking for some NBA futures action to help you through these next few months.
So, let’s check out the 2022 NBA championship odds and try to find a winner in the bunch.
Who is the favorite to win the 2022 NBA title?
The Phoenix Suns have been the most impressive team in the NBA all season long, and even though Chris Paul might be sidelined until the start of the playoffs, the reigning Western Conference champs are the betting favorites to win it all at +350 odds ($100 wins $350).
At 49-10, the Suns have the best record in the league and sit 6.5 games ahead of the Golden State Warriors out West. Stephen Curry and company come in right behind Phoenix in the title odds at +450.
After Golden State, the new-look Brooklyn Nets are up next at +475, and the Ben Simmons-less Philadelphia 76ers come in at +700. Maybe surprisingly, the reigning champ Milwaukee Bucks are all the way down at +750.

Finding value on the futures board
If you’re looking to get down some action on the NBA futures market, we’ve got you covered with a few bets you might want to target ahead of the playoff race.
Milwaukee Bucks +750
Have we really forgotten about the Bucks? The reigning NBA champs are chugging along just fine at 36-24, and they have as good of a chance as any team to win the race for the No. 1 seed in the East.
Las Vegas is pegging a Nets team, which isn’t healthy and has more question marks than anyone in the league, and a 76ers team, which has just two months to find a groove with Joel Embiid and James Harden, as bigger favorites to win the title than Milwaukee? I’ll gladly take the Bucks to repeat at this price.
Miami Heat +1000
The Nets, Bucks, and 76ers have commanded the most respect this year based on their star-studded rosters, but the Heat quietly have a higher net rating than all three Eastern Conference teams above them in the odds. This same Miami core reached the NBA Finals just two years ago, and if healthy, it can absolutely make it back this season.
Los Angeles Clippers +6000
The Clippers aren’t championship contenders with the lineups they’re sending out right now, but let’s not forget about Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. There’s no guarantee either star will return from their respective injuries at any point this year, but if they do, Los Angeles is severely mispriced at 60-to-1.
The Clippers are well worth a sprinkle in a wide-open Western Conference.
