Where Are The Next Five Super Bowl Locations? A Look Ahead To 2026 and Beyond

From February 10, 2025 – the day after Super Bowl LIX, the focus will quickly switch to 2026 and Super Bowl LX, which will be staged at the Levi’s Stadium – the home of the 49ers.

San Francisco have won the Super Bowl five times and need just one more to join both the Steelers and the Patriots as the winning-most NFL teams – where better to do try and do that than your own stadium.

The Levi’s Stadium has been the Super Bowl location just one before. Which was in 2016 for Super Bowl 50.

That match saw the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10.

While the last Super Bowl the 49ers won was in 1995, having lost in the Super Bowl LVIII (2024) to the Chiefs.

Super Bowl LXI (2027) Will Be Held At The SoFi Stadium In California

Then, looking ahead to Super Bowl LXI in 2027 – the location here will be in California again, but this time at the SoFi Stadium.

This is the home of both the LA Chargers and the LA Rams, who share the venue through the NFL season.

The SoFi Stadium has been the Super Bowl location once before, which was for Super Bowl LVI (2022) when the LA Rams won on their home turf – beating the Bengals 23-20 in a close match.

This was also the first time the LA Rams won the Super Bowl. But they can at least say they did it in front of their own fans.

The Super Bowl LXII (2028) Location Will Be At The Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta

The final next Super Bowl location that we know about will be in 2028 for Super Bowl LXII.

This venue will be the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia, the home of the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons are still to win the Super Bowl – so maybe, like the Rams in 2022, a home win will be on the cards for Atlanta.

You have to go back to just Super Bowl LIII (2019) to see the last time the Super Bowl location was held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. That year the New England Patriots saw off the LA Rams just 13-3 in a low-scoring clash.

Prior to that Atlanta had also hosted the 1994 and 2000 Super Bowls at the Georgia Dome.

Which Stadium Has Hosted The Most Super Bowls?

The 2025 Super Bowl venue at the Caesars Superdome has played host to the most games.

This currently stands at seven, but they will increase their lead further to EIGHT, after Super Bowl LIX in 2025.

Prior to Super Bowl LIX, the last time the Caesars Superdome held the event was in 2013 (Super Bowl XLVII) when it was called the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The match saw the Ravens beat the 49ers 34-31, which strangely is the same scoreline as AI software DeepSeek is predicting the 2025 Super Bowl to be – spooky.

Since then, the Caesars Superdome has also undergone a $560 redevelopment (see below).

Next best is the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami with six.

Which has had many name changes over the years but hosted five Super Bowls before.

  • 7 – Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana
  • 6 – Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
  • 5 – Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California
  • 5 – Miami Orange Bowl, Miami, Florida

Super Bowl Dates (2025 to 2032)

  • 2025 (Super Bowl LIX) – February 9
  • 2026 (Super Bowl LX) – February 8
