With the NFL’s trade deadline set for Nov. 4, here are five teams that will either be buyers or sellers.
New York Jets
Teams are keeping an eye on the #Jets ahead of the trade deadline: names being mentioned include Breece Hall, Quincy Williams, Jermaine Johnson II, Will McDonald IV, Michael Carter II, and Allen Lazard, among others, per sources:

The New York Jets are the only winless team in the NFL (0-7).
With the season all but lost, the Jets will start planning for 2026, which means selling off players for draft capital.
According to Jordan Schultz, NFL teams are starting to keep an eye on potential Jets players who could become available in a trade. Those players include Breece Hall, Quincy Williams, Jermaine Johnson II, Will McDonald IV, Michael Carter II, Allen Lazard, and more.
In all likelihood, Aaron Glenn will return for a second season. With Justin Fields struggling, Glenn and the Jets brass will need to draft their quarterback of the future.
Accumulating 2026 draft picks should be the priority. The more picks, the better position they will be in to draft a quarterback.
Philadelphia Eagles
Joe Giglio's 5 Corners the Eagles should target at the trade deadline:
5. L' Jarius Sneed
4. Riq Woolen
3. Cam Taylor-Britt
2. Jourdan Lewis

If there’s one team that will be active at the trade deadline, it’s the Philadelphia Eagles.
Howie Roseman is universally accepted as one of the most aggressive general managers in the league.
At 4-2, the Eagles will be looking to add depth at several positions, including cornerback, defensive line, and offensive line.
The Eagles desperately need a cornerback to play across from Quinyon Mitchell. Seattle’s Tariq Woolen and Cincinnati’s Cam Taylor-Britt will be popular names in trade rumors.
Tennessee Titans
The Titans are open for business on every player but QB Cam Ward and DT Jeffery Simmons.
The Eagles are looking for help at edge and corner, while the Chiefs are inquiring about defensive linemen.

The Cam Ward Era has not been rocky and tumultuous.
Head coach Brian Callahan did not last the season, as the organization fired him on October 13.
At 1-6, the Tennessee Titans should be looking to unload several assets in hopes of receiving draft capital.
Per The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Titans are open to trading every player on the roster besides Ward and star defensive lineman Jeffrey Simmons.
Cornerback Roger McCreary, defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat, tight end Chig Okonkwo, and linebacker Arden Key are several names to keep an eye on in Tennessee.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers’ injuries are starting to catch up with them, as evidenced by their 24-9 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Wide receiver Mike Evans suffered a broken clavicle and will miss most of the season.
Chris Godwin continues to miss time with a fibula injury, and Emeka Egbuka has been battling a hamstring injury.
At 5-2, the Bucs have a legitimate shot to win the NFC and make the Super Bowl. Therefore, Tampa should be a buyer before the deadline.
Adding another receiver to make up for the Evans’ loss could be part of Tampa’s plan.
Indianapolis Colts
I’m not even sure what’s out there, and Chris Ballard doesn’t like to make moves at the trade deadline…
But this CB situation is begging for a move to be made https://t.co/wWKdJm2qoO

The Indianapolis Colts have been the biggest surprise this season.
The Colts are in first place in the AFC with a 6-1 record.
While the Colts continue to set records on offense, the defense continues to suffer injuries, especially in the secondary. The Colts recently lost their No. 1 corner, Charvarius Ward, to IR.
Chris Ballard should take advantage of this excellent start and bolster the secondary to make a playoff push.
