Brandon Graham Injury Update

The Philadelphia Eagles have provided a positive injury update concerning Brandon Graham ahead of their Super Bowl 2025 meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Graham has been out of action since November 24 when he tore his triceps against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12.

He described it at the time as a season-ending injury and looked to bring an end to his NFL career. Graham last July insisted that his 15th season with the Eagles would be his last in the NFL.

However, in recent weeks there had been hope that Graham would make an unlikely return to play his final game at Super Bowl 2025.

Graham is a step closer towards achieving that goal it appears following an update provided by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Brandon Graham Injury Update: Philadelphia Eagles Open His Practice Window

Philadelphia Eagles announced that have they opened the practice window for Brandon Graham in an injury update on their social media channels.

They wrote: “We have opened the practice windows for TE CJ Uzomah and DE Brandon Graham, signed RB Lew Nichols to the Practice Squad, and released TE Nick Muse from the Practice Squad.”

The update is a positive one which comes 10 days before the Eagles meet the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.

If he’s able to make it onto the field during the game in Louisiana, it would be a massive boost for coach Nick Sirianni.

The Eagles hope to stop Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs from winning their third straight Super Bowl – the first ever three-peat in NFL history.

Speaking earlier this week before the injury update from the Eagles, Graham said: “I feel good. This has been the easiest injury, I’d say, out of the injuries I’ve had. Upper body stuff is a little bit easier,’ Graham said.

“It’s just making sure I’m building muscle, I’m getting stronger and doing the right things to where I’m not re-hurting it. We’ll see what the docs say, see what’s going on, and go from there.”

Graham Planning To Retire At End Of The Season

The positive injury update surrounding Brandon Graham opens up the door for him to finish his NFL career in style.

The 36-year-old announced he would retire at the end of the season back in July 2024.

Graham was selected 13th overall by the Eagles in the 2010 NFL draft out of the University of Michigan. The 6-foot-2, 265-pound edge rusher has spent his entire career with the organization.

The biggest play of his NFL career occurred in Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots. During the fourth quarter with 2:21 remaining, he strip-sacked Tom Brady, forcing a fumble recovered by teammate Derek Barnett. The Eagles went on to win their first and only championship with a final score of 41-33.

Speaking after suffering the injury, Graham said: “If I had to go out like this, I gave everything I got.”
