Ravens vs. Chiefs Odds and Predictions
"That's the number one thing… If you don't get any takeaways, then you have to consistently get off the field." pic.twitter.com/u6FrjhvUxO
— Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) September 25, 2025
Coming into the season, the Ravens and Chiefs were expected to be two of the best teams.
Both have underperformed through three games.
Lamar Jackson has held up his end of the bargain — 722 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Jackson has also added 118 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
Jackson has given his team a chance to win in the two losses. However, Derrick Henry has fumbled in all three games, including in two key moments in Weeks 1 and 3.
Baltimore’s defense is the issue. The Ravens have surrendered the most total yards (415.0 per game), the second-most passing yards (266.3 per game), and the third-most rushing yards (149.0). Baltimore ranks 31st in scoring defense (32.0).
Baltimore’s defense has been tormented by Buffalo and Detroit, two of the best offenses in the NFL.
The Kansas City Chiefs do not boast the offensive firepower of the Bills and Lions. However, the Chiefs do have Patrick Mahomes, who holds a 5-1 SU record against Jackson.
The Chiefs’ offense desperately needs some playmaking on the outside. Xavier Worthy is on track to play, which would be a huge boost to a struggling Chiefs’ offense.
Kansas City’s defense remains a top 12 unit in most categories.
The Ravens have the better roster, but Baltimore cannot get over the Kansas City hump. Plus, Mahomes as an underdog is 12-3-1 ATS. This is the spot to back Mahomes, especially if this number jumps to 3.
Pick: Chiefs +2.5 (+100)
Ravens vs. Chiefs Prop
The Ravens can’t do anything right on defense. Stopping the run is arguably their biggest problem.
Baltimore let Detroit run for 224 yards and four touchdowns in Week 4.
The best defense against Jackson is to keep him off the field. Expect Kansas City to try to establish the run early. When they get down to the red zone, Kareem Hunt is who the Chiefs typically turn to in short yardage.
I’ll take a flier on Hunt to score.
