The NFL had used unique, original logos for each Super Bowl in the past that often pertained to the game’s host city. That only changed when the league decided to introduce templated logos for Super Bowl XLV, a decision that carried over to future Super Bowl games.

Super Bowl Logo Conspiracy Theory Reveals A Connection For A Potential Kansas City Chiefs Three-Peat

The league finally admitted how plain and uncreative the old look was and sought to add more color for Super Bowl LVI’s logo. A new design with the traditional roman numerals worked wonders to attract new fans and expand international viewership.

However, the decision only fueled conspiracy theories across social media sites. For the first two years of the new generation of Super Bowl logos, the colors on the logo have lined up with each game’s matchup — Bengals vs. Rams and then Chiefs vs. Eagles.

That streak only ended last season when the Ravens lost to the Chiefs in the AFC championship game. Then again, fans still linked the Chiefs to Super Bowl LVIII because of Taylor Swift’s purple dresses.

New Orleans is hosting Super Bowl LIX between the Chiefs and Eagles at Caesars Superdome. The league’s new logo just so happens to feature red and green. Those are the primary colors of Kansas City and Philadelphia.

Is the logo trend just a silly coincidence, or is the NFL trying to mock some of its viewers who think the games are real? Last season’s matchup put an end to the team logo trend, but this latest rematch of Super Bowl LVII is leading to fans pointing out the colors connection once again.

Has The NFL Always Been Rigged?

If the NFL is fixed, rigged, or whatever else someone prefers to call it, the league hasn’t done a great job at hiding it this century, especially not within the last 10 years. The legalization of sports betting has only added to fan criticism. No one is wrong for thinking it.

The New England Patriots overcame a 28-3 deficit in the second half of Super Bowl LI to defeat the Atlanta Hawks in overtime. It was a 25-point comeback win for then-Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and then-head coach Bill Belichick. That was a legendary performance for the New England team, but it also seemed too improbable to be believable.

Not only did the Falcons do everything possible to lose Super Bowl LI in the second half, but the Patriots also played like a completely different team. Brady threw a pick-six at the end of the second quarter, and New England had to convert a two-point conversion to force overtime. There was no room for error. Everything had to be perfect.

Conspiracy theorists argue that the Patriots’ dynasty began because of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It was the same season that Brady began his NFL career. New England went on to win three of the next four super bowls, and the Pats dominated the league until the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Were Scripted To Win Super Bowl LV Because Of The COVID-19 Pandemic?

Brady signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that same year in 2020. Tampa Bay’s team symbol is a red flag with a skull and crossbones logo on it.

The skull and bones logo has always symbolized death and destruction. The design originated in the late Middle Ages and was used as a memento mori on tombstones.

Some fans believe the Bucs became the first team to host a Super Bowl in their own stadium and win the championship as the host team because they were scripted to do so during a global pandemic. The evidence is actually pretty convincing.

In November 2002, a form of atypical pneumonia called severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) began spreading rapidly around the world. The origins of SARS traced back to Guangdong Province, China.

Coincidentally, the Buccaneers defeated the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII in January 2003. They won during the SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic.

Los Angeles Rams Won Super Bowl LVI In Their Own Stadium

Then came the Los Angeles Rams in the 2021 season. After 21 seasons played in St. Louis, the Rams moved to Los Angeles in 2015 and relocated to their new stadium in Inglewood in 2020. In May 2017, the league re-awarded Super Bowl LV to Tampa Bay and awarded Super Bowl LVI to Los Angeles.

The Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to win Super Bowl LVI, becoming the second NFL team to win the Super Bowl in its home stadium. The Rams are the only NFL franchise to win championships representing three different cities: Cleveland in 1945, Los Angeles in 1951 and 2021, and St. Louis in 1999.

Another example includes the New Orleans Saints winning Super Bowl XLIV over the Indianapolis Colts on Feb. 7, 2010. This came almost five years after Hurricane Katrina, a destructive Category 5 storm, made landfall on the Gulf Coast in August 2005. The storm caused catastrophic flooding, particularly in the city of New Orleans.

As stated above, if the NFL is rigged, they’ve done a horrible job at hiding it. A lot of these Super Bowl stories could just be coincidences. We all know the old saying, though. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
