With Daytona 500 Opportunity Approaching, JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier Tops NASCAR Xfinity Series Title Odds

Justin Allgaier (+350) remains the sports-betting favorite to capture the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series, per BetOnline Sportsbook, but JR Motorsports’ long-time driver will have important season-opening work to do before he settles into the second-tier circuit’s points race.
Years in the making, Allgaier will pilot the Cup Series debut for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s organization, which received a significant sponsorship boost from country music star Chris Stapleton.
The defending Xfinity Series champion, Allgaier, who has collected 25 series wins, will attempt to qualify the No. 40 Chevrolet for the “Great American Race.” Allgaier, who ran a full-time Cup schedule in 2014 and ‘15, appreciated the opportunity.
“When they asked me, it was a really cool moment because Dale is sentimental, but probably more sentimental about what he’s accomplished and what his family has accomplished,” Allgaier said, as reported by Autoweek. “This is going to be great, and people have told me what a great time I’ll have. I kind of look at the other side of it. I’m thinking, ‘Man, how do we qualify? How do we race in the duels?’ I’m fully invested in trying to understand everything about it. I’m watching tape and doing all these things to make myself better because of what the fans expect and the fact that Dale Junior could have gotten anybody to drive this car.”
With four open cars available, Allgaier will qualify against former Cup champions such as Jimmie Johnson and Martin Truex Jr.

Xfinity Sponsors Extra Point For Fastest Lap, Out After ’25
NASCAR National Series drivers will have an extra path to earning points.
Pilots can claim a point in the driver and owner standings for posting the fastest lap during points events, dubbed the Xfinity Fastest Lap.
The driver who compiles the most fastest laps will receive a donation for a chosen charity.
Kyle Larson led the Cup Series with five regular-season fastest laps last season.
Xfinity extended title sponsorship for the second-rung series for a final season. Comcast’s telecommunications division has sponsored the circuit since 2015, replacing Nationwide.
A decade-long relationship continues! @comcast renews its partnership with NASCAR and announces a new Xfinity Fastest Lap program!
