“The Match: Champions for Charity” is set for Sunday at 3 p.m. ET

Four of the biggest stars in sports are teaming up to raise $10 million for COVID-19 relief on Sunday. At 3 p.m. ET Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson will take on Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods in a unique format at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida. TBS, TNT, TruTV, and HLN will all have live coverage of the showdown.

The front nine will be a four-ball format, with everyone playing their own ball. The lowest score of the four players wins the hole for their team. When the players reach the back nine, the format will switch to an alternate shot.

If you’re looking for a little action on The Match, you can bet on it today. Woods and Manning are the betting favorite at around -200. If you want to take a shot at the underdogs, Brady and Mickelson are priced at +175.

The combined net worth of Brady, Manning, Woods, and Mickelson is over $1.5 billion

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson are four of the all-time greats in their respective sports, and that’s translated to massive wealth across the board. The foursome has a combined net worth of $1.63 billion.

Surprisingly, Brady has the lowest of the group at $180 million. It’s not a small number in the slightest, but one might expect a higher figure from the most decorated quarterback in NFL history.

Manning, who retired in 2016, has a net worth of $250 million. His numerous endorsements helped him grow his wealth even higher in retirement.

Mickelson has a massive net worth of $400 million. The big lefty has won over 40 PGA Tour events in his career, including four Major Championships. He has earned a whopping $87 million in tournament prizes over his career. He’s second in golf history to Woods in career earnings.

Tiger Woods has the largest net worth in The Match

Unsurprisingly, Tiger Woods has the highest net worth of the four superstars in The Match, and it’s not particularly close either. Woods has a mind-boggling $800 million net worth, making him one of the richest athletes in the world.

It’s not a stretch to say Woods can reach the coveted $1 billion mark in the near future. If he does, he will join Michael Jordan and Ion Tiriac as the only other athlete with a net worth over $1 billion.

Billions of dollars worth of superstar athletes will be on display Sunday afternoon, and they’re using their massive combined wealth for a great cause. Hopefully, we’ll get an entertaining match out of it too.
