Mohammed Kudus has signed with the same agency that brokered the deal to bring Kai Havertz to Arsenal from Chelsea amid rumours of his West Ham exit.

Mohammed Kudus Signs With ROOF Agency Amid West Ham Exit Talks

West Ham star Mohammed Kudus has signed with sports management firm ROOF.

It comes amid speculation over his future at the London Stadium, with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle being linked with the Ghanaian in recent months.

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the Hammers man.

Kudus was previously represented by Jennifer Mendelewitsch, who brokered the deal to bring the 24-year-old to East London from Ajax in 2023, however they parted ways last year.

He has now opted to sign with ROOF (Representatives Of Outstanding Footballers), joining their star-studded list of clientele that includes the likes of Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk.

ROOF have negotiated some of the biggest moves in football, and Kudus’ rumoured summer exit could be the next deal to join that list.

It is reported that the attacking midfielder has a 10-day release clause that becomes active on 1 July and runs until 10 July. Reports suggest that the clause can be activated by Premier League clubs for £85m, while clubs in the Saudi Pro League will need to pay £125m.

The 42-time Ghana international is regarded as one of West Ham’s most valuable assets.

According to the Evening Standard, Hammers chiefs would consider selling Kudus if an opportunity arose to improve their financial wiggle-room, as they look to improve their playing squad. Club captain Jarrod Bowen is the only player that is strictly not for sale this summer.

Botafogo striker and Club World Cup standout Igor Jesus is among the names West Ham are planning to swoop for ahead of next season.

ROOF Brought Kai Havertz to Arsenal from Chelsea

As previously mentioned, ROOF has brokered some of the biggest deals in football.

One of those is Kai Havertz’s reported £65m move from Chelsea to Arsenal in 2023.

The agency also helped negotiate a deal between Liverpool and Van Dijk towards the end of last season, as the Dutchman signed a new two-year contract extension at Anfield.

Other standout deals include Caoimhin Kelleher’s initial £12.5m move from the Reds to Brentford at the start of the month, as well as Ilkay Gundogan’s return to Manchester City last year.

Considering ROOF’s previous dealings with Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, along with the trio’s rumoured interest in Kudus, it could potentially give them an upper hand in negotiations.

Further clients include Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry, Konrad Laimer and Leon Goretzka, Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott and Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.

Kudus’ current West Ham teammate Niclas Fullkrug is also signed with ROOF.

They also boast a lengthy list of coaching and managerial clientele. This includes former Gunners defender Per Mertesacker and Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler.
