Turki Alalshikh is the man behind the resurgence of boxing over the past few years. His Excellency is the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, tasked with promoting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through sport and culture.
Read on to find out all you need to know about Alalshikh’s net worth, personal life, business ventures and much more.
Who Is His Excellency Turki Alalshikh?
Turki Alalshikh, often referred to as His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, is one of the most important and influential figures in Saudi Arabia.
His official title is the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), as well as being a Saudi Arabian adviser at the Royal Court under the rank of Minister.
Not only is His Excellency the Chairman of the GEA, but he is also the current Chairman of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF).
Alalshikh is best known now for his involvement in professional boxing. He is the man at the centre of all of the spectacular Riyadh Season and Ring Magazine cards in Saudi Arabia, and is almost solely responsible for getting all of the best boxers in the world to fight each other.
The 44-year-old has brought fighters such as Tyson Fury, the great Oleksandr Usyk, two-time world heavyweight king Anthony Joshua and even former UFC star Francis Ngannou to fight on his boxing shows in Saudi.
He was the mastermind behind the Canelo vs Terence Crawford super-fight too, where Crawford defied his odds as underdog with boxing betting sites to dethrone the great Mexican with relative ease. ‘Bud’ also became the first three-weight undisputed champion in boxing history in the process.
Although Alalshikh’s main sporting focus at the minute seems to be boxing, he also has other interests in sports such as football, snooker and the UFC to name but a few. Alalshikh is also a keen poet and writer.
It seems Turki Alalshikh is a ‘Jack of all trades’, but his most notable work is his continued involvement in the sport of boxing.
Turki Alalshikh is the most influential figure in the sport of boxing right now. Period.
Turki Alalshikh Net Worth Hits $2.8 Billion
As well as being the Chairman of the GEA and ISSF, His Excellency is also an extremely rich man. As of today, it is estimated that Turki Alalshikh’s net worth is somewhere in the region of $2.8bn (Β£2.14bn).
Given his title and family, it is evident that Alalshikh was born into wealth. However, he has formed his own path and is most definitely leaving a trail now with the incredible things he is doing for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is no secret that there is a lot of money in Saudi Arabia, and Turki Alalshikh is a man who has a lot of it. Along with his $2.8bn net worth, His Excellency is said to own an astounding 77 cars, which includes several rare motors worth an absolute fortune.
One of his most prized possessions is his Bugatti Chiron sports car, which he bought back in 2018 for $4.8m.
Oleksandr Usyk’s net worth recently surpassed Β£45m, which is partly down to Alalshikh’s mammoth purses. He can afford to pay fighters such as Usyk, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua etc multi-millions per fight, which he does on a regular basis.
It’s fair to say he certainly has the money to do so with a net worth of almost $3bn!
Why Is Turki Alalshikh Often Called ‘His Excellency’?
Although best known for being the mastermind behind the colossal boxing battles that have taken place and are continuing to happen in Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh is actually a hugely important figure in the Royal Saudi family.
Often referred to as His Excellency, this is an official title given to members of the Royal Saudi family. Similar in certain ways to members of the British Royal Family, who may often be referred to as ‘His Majesty’ or ‘Your Highness’.
The term ‘His Excellency’ is somewhat a mark of respect, giving Alalshikh his full title.
A man who has almost single handedly saved boxing and helped deliver the biggest and best fights including Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk, Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol twice and many more, definitely deserves to be called by his full title.

Is Turki Alalshikh Married?
His Excellency Turki Alalshikh may be a man who has a strong business relationship with the likes of Tyson FuryΒ and Anthony Joshua, but far less is now about his own personal relationships.
Next to nothing is know about Turki Alalshikh’s personal life, which is understandable given his prominence in the sporting landscape of boxing, football, snooker and potentially the UFC.
However, one thing we do know is that His Excellency is indeed married and has six children now. There are many rumours about who Alalshikh is married to, but it is said that his wife is called Nouf bint Fahd bin Khalid Al Saud.
A grand wedding ceremony was held for Turki Alalshikh and the daughter of the Deputy Minister of Interior in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2005. If this is true, His Excellency has been married for over 20 years now.

His Excellency Turki Alalshikh Owns The Ring Magazine
It was announced in November 2024 that His Excellency acquired popular boxing magazine and world renowned combat sports magazine – The Ring.
Turki Alalshikh has of course been a major figure in the global boxing renaissance, bringing several huge fights to Saudi Arabia under the Riyadh Season umbrella, as well as helping fund some of the biggest fights of the past two years.
He has also partnered up with some of the best fighters in the world such as Naoya Inoue, Terence Crawford and several other fighters high up the pound-for-pound boxing rankings.
Since acquiring The Ring last year, it has evolved from a magazine and neutral publication into an active promotional boxing brand. The magazine and rankings still exist, but The Ring has now expanded its operations to put on its own events and promotions.
The first major Ring Magazine boxing event was Ryan Garcia vs Rolly Romero in Times Square, New York back in May, with several others following.
Alalshikh wants a Riyadh Season card staged in Africa too, perhaps headlined by Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder. If this happens, it could well be a Ring Magazine show.
The Ring will continue to be a huge player in world boxing as a ranking system, magazine, promotional outfit, branding partnership and all-round boxing powerhouse under Alalshikh’s ownership.
Turki Alalshikh Interested In Millwall FC and Southampton FC
Speaking onΒ talkSPORT recently, former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan revealed that Turki Alalshikh is looking to buy a club in the English Football League, with Millwall and Southampton named as frontrunners.
“No it’s not talk, they are interested because they’ve told me,” Jordan said on the radio show.
“I’ve told them – or tried to talk them out of Millwall, because I don’t think it’s a proper football club but that’s a different discussion.
“But it is Millwall – and he likes Southampton. I suggested Sheffield Wednesday to him, he doesn’t want Sheffield Wednesday.
“He doesn’t want a club in the north. He wants a club in the south, and Millwall and Southampton are the clubs he thinks are interesting to him,” Jordan concluded.
Alalshikh already has previous experience in football club ownership, too. He currently owns Spanish Segunda Division side UD Almeria and formerly owned Egyptian side Pyramids FC.
Not only that, but he has also spent time as the Honorary President of Saudi Pro League side Al-Taawoun.
It’s not just Alalshikh who has shown interest in purchasing an EFL club either. Two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is considering ‘serious investment’ in Championship club Watford too.
Turki Alalshikh Also Backing New Flag Football Tournament With Tom Brady Signed To Play
Many people are also asking what is flag football?
His Excellency Turki Alalshikh’s latest venture has seen the Saudi billionaire backing a new ‘non-contact’ American Football tournament in his homeland.
As we know by now, Turki Alalshikh doesn’t do things in half measures – as he’s managed to entice seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady out of retirement to play in it.
Flag Football is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, with over 20 million worldwide players and the sport also set to be added to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Before that, however, Alalshikh has secured the signatures of a whole host of NFL stars (past and present).
This includes Tom Brady, who is set to feature in his new The Fanatics Flag Football Classic event. It will start in March 2026 and be staged at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
