Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has been ranked as the most likely player to provide an assist in FPL for Gameweek 9 as the Gunners host Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Bukayo Saka Most Likely To Register Assist In Gameweek 9
Gameweek 9 is fast approaching, and with the weekly deadline in FPL set for 18:30 on Friday evening, it’s time for managers to start finalising their teams for the weekend.
To help in that process, we’re taking a look at which players are most likely to register an assist in GW9.
Calculated using the bookmakers’ latest assist odds, we have created a list of players that are most likely to provide an assist this weekend based on the implied probability of their odds.
Topping that list is Arsenal and England winger Bukayo Saka.
The 24-year-old will face off against Crystal Palace at the Emirates in an all-London affair on Sunday, and bookmakers give him a 28.6% chance of registering an assist in the match.
Saka is yet to provide an assist for his club this term, having totalled just three goals in nine appearances thus far, however he boasts a strong record against the Eagles in recent years.
Across his last seven appearances against the South London club since 2022-23, Saka has totalled two goals and four assists. This includes an assist in the Gunners’ 3-2 FA Cup quarter-final win over Oliver Glasner’s side last term.

Following as the second most likely player to provide an assist this weekend is Mohamed Salah.
Salah, who also features highly in our list of most likely goalscorers in FPL for Gameweek 9, has been given a 25.0% probability to provide an assist away at Brentford this weekend.
This is despite his underwhelming form as of late, having failed to register a goal involvement in each of his last five appearances for Liverpool across all competitions.
Additionally, Arne Slot dropped the Egyptian to the bench for the Reds’ 5-1 Champions League win over Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt out in Germany on Wednesday night.

Another Gunners star in Eberechi Eze is third most likely to provide an assist in Gameweek 9.
Odds suggest that the £7.6m midfielder has a 23.8% chance of assisting a goal, ahead of Chelsea’s Estevao (23.1%) and Pedro Neto (22.7%), as well as Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz (22.7%).
Also ranked highly in terms of their probability of registering an assist are Anthony Elanga, Joao Pedro, David Brooks, Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki, who are all rated at 22.2% of doing so.
Chelsea’s Pedro is also included as a faller in the latest FPL price changes for Gameweek 9.
