‘teddy’s xv’ Tops FPL Overall Leaderboard After Gameweek 9

Following the completion of Gameweek 9, ‘teddy’s xv’, managed by ‘C McQuade’, tops the overall Fantasy Premier League (FPL) leaderboard with an impressive total of 691 points.

McQuade ended GW9 with a total of 75 points – a Gameweek rank of 187,528 – which saw them move up from 30th place in the worldwide rankings to the very top of the overall table.

Despite captaining Erling Haaland, who blanked, along with the likes of Joao Pedro and Dan Burn underwhelming, strong showings from Micky van de Ven, Eberechi Eze, Bruno Guimaraes, Gabriel and David Raya made it a memorable weekend for the FPL manager.

McQuade is now four points clear of second place in the overall leaderboard.

‘teddy’s xv’ – FPL World No. 1’s Gameweek 9 Squad

Since the start of the season, McQuade has used just one chip, having opted to use their first Triple Captain on City’s Haaland in Gameweek 6, where they accumulated a 95-point total.

McQuade’s best week came during Gameweek 1 however, as they totalled 96 points.

Haaland, who remains one of the best forwards to buy in FPL for 2025-26, Antoine Semenyo, Mohammed Kudus and Raya all chipped in with double-digit point hauls during that week.

Impressively, ‘teddy’s xv’ has only made three transfers since the start of the season.

It remains to be seen whether they decide to make any transfers for Gameweek 10.

Their squad is now valued at £102.7m, with £0.3m in transfer funds available to spend.
