Luke Littler has been left ‘shaken’ after being involved in a car chase just days after passing his driving test.

Luke Littler In Car Chase That Left Him ‘Shaken’ Days After Passing Test

Reigning world champion Luke Littler has revealed that he has been left ‘shaken’ after being involved in a car chase just two days after passing his test.

Littler passed his driving test first time with no minors on Monday, November 3, before being involved in a car chase just two days later.

The 18-year-old has revealed that he was being followed on the motorway, which has left him in a state ahead of the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts.

“I was getting followed,” admitted Littler.

“I was shaken, nervous. I’d been driving for two days and getting followed on the motorway, so that’s why I posted the car so he couldn’t sell his pictures,” concluded ‘The Nuke’.

It seems that the people involved in the car chase were in fact paparazzi, hence why Littler posted pictures of his car before the man involved in the car chase could sell his own pictures.

When Does Luke Littler Next Play?

Although Luke Littler seems like he has recovered from the car chase now, it may well play a part in his performance in his next tournament.

Littler is back in action at the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts, where he aims to make a successful defence of the Eric Bristow Trophy after winning the Grand Slam on debut 12 months ago.

The 18-year-old heads the Grand Slam of Darts field as the outright favourite and current champion, and has been grouped alongside Daryl Gurney, Connor Scutt and Karel Sedlacek in Group E.

Littler gets his Grand Slam of Darts defence underway on Saturday night, where he faces Sedlacek in his first group game.

Heading into the penultimate PDC major prior to the World Darts Championship in December, Littler is odds on to defend his crown and become just the fourth back-to-back Grand Slam winner in history.

Several Luke Littler stats show that ‘The Nuke’ will go on to win a second successive Eric Bristow Trophy, but it remains to be seen whether these statistics prove correct or not.

Will Luke Littler’s Car Chase Affect Him At The Grand Slam Of Darts?

Luke Littler is on the brink of making Grand Slam of Darts history, but this latest incident being chased by the paparazzi may well play a major part in his performance on the oche in the next PDC major.

Although Littler will have had three days to recover from the car chase before playing his first game on Saturday night at the WV Active Aldersley in Wolverhampton, it may have an affect on his performance on the dart board.

That being said, Littler is as cool and calm as you like on the oche, so it seems unlikely that this car chase will have had a lasting affect on the 18-year-old.

‘The Nuke’ is almost unbeatable when at his best, so if he brings his top tungsten throwing he will be an incredibly difficult man to beat at the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts.
