The 2025 Grand Slam of Darts takes place in Wolverhampton this week in the next PDC major, with the full field and draw now confirmed. But just who is in action?
The full field and line-up has been revealed for the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts, with 32 of the world’s best darts players qualifying for this week’s major at the WV Active Aldersley.
Grand Slam of Darts Field Confirmed
The 2025 Grand Slam of Darts is almost upon us as 32 of the world’s best darts players head to the WV Active Aldersley in Wolverhampton for the next PDC major.
Last year it was Luke Littler who won his first Eric Bristow Trophy, defeating Martin Lukeman 16-3 in the final. ‘The Nuke’ is unsurprisingly the bookies favourite this year once again.
All of the biggest names in world darts are in action this week and part of the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts field.
That is with the exception of some big names such as former world champions Rob Cross and Peter Wright who both failed to qualify.
Dimitri van den Bergh, Joe Cullen, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Ryan Searle and Ryan Joyce are just some other big names who failed to make the line-up.
Although there are several big names missing, the likes of world number one Luke Humphries, reigning world champion Luke Littler, three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen and three-time Grand Slam winner Gerwyn Price are amongst the field.
After clinching his first PDC major at the European Championship last month, Gian van Veen shot up the latest darts power rankings and is one of the three most in-form players heading into the Grand Slam of Darts.
As the second final PDC major before the World Darts Championship with just the Players Championship Finals to come, who will reign in Wolverhampton come Sunday?
Grand Slam of Darts Draw
The complete Grand Slam of Darts draw has been done with all eight groups complete. The draw has thrown up some tantalising tungsten tussles, with some incredibly strong groups confirmed.
Number one seed and world number one Luke Humphries has a tough group. He is in Group A alongside Nathan Aspinall, Michael Smith and Alex Spellman.
Women’s darts star Lisa Ashton has arguably the toughest group, with Gian van Veen, Josh Rock and Wessel Nijman to face.
Multiple world champions Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson have also been grouped together. They are joined by dominant female dartist Beau Greaves, who will be confident of making it to the knockout stages.
Defending champion Luke Littler raged at Players Championship officials last week, but he is in action in Wolverhampton and looks likely to top Group E.
The full details of all eight Grand Slam of Darts groups are outlined below with the full draw available to watch.

Who Is The Grand Slam of Darts Favourite?
With all of the big hitters in action this week in Dortmund, there are some intriguing odds at the top end of the pricing for the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts.
However, one man is favoured more than the rest. It comes as no surprise whatsoever to learn that defending champion Luke Littler heads the market as the Grand Slam of Darts outright favourite.
Littler passed his driving test first time with no minors on Monday, but is back to focusing on his darts and looking to add another PDC major to his ever-growing collection of trophies.
The usual suspects of Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price, Gian van Veen, Josh Rock, Stephen Bunting and Michael van Gerwen are also amongst the favourites.
There are plenty of other markets available to bet on as well at the Grand Slam, with all leading bookmakers offering a wide range of novelty bets and more.
If you can’t pick a winner for this week’s PDC major, perhaps backing markets such as someone to reel-in the ‘big fish’ or perhaps even landing the nine-dart finish could be the smart play.
With the Grand Slam of Darts being a unique event with group stages, there are so many more markets to bet on than the standard straight knockout tournaments.
What Is The Grand Slam of Darts Prize Money?
The 2025 Grand Slam of Darts prize money has remained the same for a fourth successive year, with a total of £650,000 up for grabs this week in Wolverhampton.
This £650k pot increased by £100,000 back in 2022, but has remained the same ever since. That being said, it is still a tidy purse and is the third most lucrative ranking event in terms of prize money behind the World Darts Championship and World Matchplay.
The Grand Slam of Darts winner will leave the WV Active Aldersley with an additional £150,000 in prize money. Last year it was ‘The Nuke’ who did just that, and he looks like a safe bet to become the next back-to-back winner since Gerwyn Price in 2018 and 2019.
The runner-up will pocket £70,000 in prize money, with the two defeated semi-finalists earning a £50,000 purse each. The four beaten quarter-finalists will each earn £25,000, with £12,250 awarded to those who fall in the Last 16.
The player that finishes bottom of each respective group is guaranteed £5,000, with the third placed player in each group receiving £8,000 in prize money.
So, will it be the most popular darts player in the world Luke Littler who reigns in Wolverhampton, or will someone else get their hands on the maximum £650k Grand Slam of Darts purse?
| Stage | Prize Money (£) |
| Winner | £150,000 |
| Runner-up | £70,000 |
| Semi-finalists (2) | £50,000 |
| Quarter-finalists (4) | £25,000 |
| Last 16 (8) | £12,250 |
| Third in group (8) | £8,000 |
| Fourth in group (8) | £5,000 |
| TOTAL | £650,000 |
