Tuesday’s Premier League Transfer Rumours

Man City and Real Madrid Want Liverpool’s Szoboszlai

AS report that Manchester City and Real Madrid are monitoring Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai.

They state that the Reds are becoming increasingly concerned over the Hungarian’s contract situation, with club chiefs worried that his long-term future may not be at Anfield.

Szoboszlai currently earns around €135,000 per week, which is far less than players in the same position as him, including Jude Bellingham, Bernardo Silva and Bruno Fernandes.

Liverpool want to renew his contract until 2030 and wish to reward him with a pay rise.

It comes off the back of a strong start to the campaign for the 25-year-old. This is despite the Reds underperforming in recent weeks, with pressure beginning to mount on Arne Slot.

The Dutchman is currently the fifth favourite in the Premier League sack race betting market.

Toney and Zirkzee Among Everton’s January Targets

Everton are prioritising signing a new striker in January.

They wish to sign a forward of a different profile to Beto and Thierno Barry.

This is according to Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett, who claims that Al-Ahli’s Ivan Toney and Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee are high up on their list of possible targets.

The Toffees were also interested in Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus, who is set to return from an ACL injury in January. Mikel Arteta has confirmed the Brazilian won’t be moving, however.

Chelsea Make Enquiry For Como Midfielder Nico Paz

Chelsea have made an official enquiry about Nico Paz’s availability, according to CaughtOffside.

Their report states that the Blues recognise his ‘soaring potential’, however any deal for the Como youngster is complicated by Real Madrid’s buy-back clauses for the Argentine.

Los Blancos hold buy-back options worth €9 million in 2026 and €10 million in 2027.

Inter Milan, Arsenal and Tottenham are also said to be interested in acquiring Paz’s services.

Liverpool Preparing Offer For Inter Milan’s Bastoni

Spanish outlet MundoDeportivo report that Liverpool are preparing an offer for Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni, who is valued at around €100m (£88m) by the Italian giants.

It comes amid the long-term injury of Giovanni Leoni and the potential departure of Ibrahima Konate. The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid next summer.

Bastoni is among the highest earners at the San Siro and is considered ‘untouchable’ by Inter.

I Nerazzurri have no intention of opening negotiations for the Italy international.

Barcelona, Man City and Chelsea Eye Palace’s Munoz

Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz is drawing interest from Premier League duo Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as LaLiga giants Barcelona, Football Insider report.

They state that the Eagles will demand well in excess of £25m for the wing-back.

That won’t be until at least the summer however, as Palace have no intention of allowing Munoz to leave in January. His current contract at Selhurst Park runs until the summer of 2028.

In other Palace news, as revealed in Monday’s Premier League transfer rumours round-up, the south London club are looking to tie Adam Wharton down to a new contract.
