Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz

Jake Paul has received a wave of financial support for his upcoming fight with Anthony Joshua.

Film director Jon Peters has placed a $5million bet on Paul to beat ‘AJ’, with a former foe of ‘The Problem Child’ also backing him to beat the former two-time unified world heavyweight champion.

Jon Peters Puts $5M Bet On Jake Paul To Beat Anthony Joshua

Film director Jon Peters is evidently a fan of a Hollywood ending, which he will be hoping for come December 19 when Jake Paul faces Anthony Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

Peters is totally convinced that the former Disney star and YouTuber will pull off the seismic upset, putting his faith in ‘The Problem Child’ to the tune of a $5m wager on him to beat the former two-time world heavyweight king.

Peters, who has produced movies like Batman and A Star Is Born to name but a few, is putting his money where his mouth is in backing the Ohio man to pull off one of the biggest upsets in boxing history.

The Joshua vs Paul rules stipulate that their upcoming bout is a fully fledged heavyweight contest, of which the American boxing novice is a monumental underdog in.

With Peters’ $5m stake, he could be expected to win somewhere in the region of $40m if Paul somehow manages to defeat ‘AJ’ come December 19.

According to TMZ, Paul knows of Peters’ bet, and has assured the multiple Oscar, Golden Globes and Grammy winner that he won’t let him down and will repay his faith with a devastating performance in the ring with Joshua come fight night.

Nate Diaz Puts $20,000 Bet On Jake Paul To Beat AJ

Film director Jon Peters isn’t the only man putting his money where his mouth is when it comes to betting on Jake Paul to beat Anthony Joshua.

Nate Diaz, a former UFC star and foe of Paul’s, has also put a sizable amount of money on ‘The Problem Child’ to defeat the former two-time world heavyweight champion.

Oleksandr Usyk raised concerns over Jake Paul’s life when asked about the fight, admitting that Joshua could ‘kill this guy’ when the pair met in the ring. However, there are some people, like Peters and Diaz, who believe Paul will secure the victory.

Paul defeated Diaz back in 2023 in the boxing ring, but his former rival has wagered $20k on his conqueror to pull off the upset and get the better of ‘AJ’ come December 19.

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has also expressed his opinion on the Paul vs Joshua match-up, insisting that ‘The Problem Child’ will beat Joshua.

However, this comes as no surprise given the fact Joshua is arguably Fury’s biggest rival, with a fight between the pair having been talked about for over a decade now.

Fury has suggested he is open to placing a £1m bet on Paul to win, but is yet to formally do so.

It seems there aren’t too many more people willing to put their money where their mouth is when it comes to betting on Jake Paul to beat Anthony Joshua.

As the most followed boxer on Instagram, Paul is extremely popular, but is firmly up against it when it comes to facing the formidable ‘AJ’.

Is anyone else brave enough to put their money on Paul, or are Jon Peters and Nate Diaz the only ones?
