Who Is Alex Pereira’s Girlfriend?
Outside of the octagon, UFC fans are curious to know all about Alex Pereira’s personal life. This includes who his current girlfriend is, whether he has been married before and whether he has any kids.
Here at SportsCasting we can reveal that Alex Pereira has been in several former relationships, but as of today is a single man.
The two-division UFC champion is said to have been in a long term relationship with his former girlfriend Merle Christine, but the pair reportedly had a messy break-up. Following that relationship, Pereira supposedly dated fellow UFC star Polyana Viana in a very low-key love affair.
However, now it seem the UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion is a single man and is more focused on his MMA career. He remains fully focussed on his career and performances inside the octagon, rather than his dating life and private affairs.
The time for that will come when Pereira has completed his career and hung up his gloves for good. For now though, it seems that Alex Pereira girlfriend is non-existent for the time being.

Who Is Alex Pereira’s Ex-Girlfriend?
The two-division UFC champion previously enjoyed a long relationship with Merle Christine – a TV presenter and interviewer.
The pair reportedly dated for a year or two, with some sources even claiming the pair were engaged. However, Merle and Pereira seemingly went through a rough break-up in 2023.
The break-up was fairly well documented, with the UFC pound-for-pound star claiming that Merle was in fact already married and had been hiding it from him. Merle of course denies these accusations, and insisted the relationship came to a natural end for other reasons.
Both Pereira and his ex-girlfriend used to share photos and videos of each other on Instagram, but have since unfollowed each other and removed all evidence that they were together. As you can see on Merle’s Instagram account (@merlecb_), there is no evidence whatsoever that she even knows Alex Pereira!
Since their break up, there were several rumours that Pereira was then dating fellow UFC fighter Polyana Viana. The pair shared several photos with each other on social media which have since been deleted, indicating their relationship was very short-lived and no longer exists.

Was Alex Pereira Married & Does He Have Any Children?
It is common knowledge that Alex Pereira was in fact previously married. It is unknown the exact details of his past marriage or who his ex-wife is, but Pereira does have two children.
Due to Pereira’s private nature, not much is known about his ex-wife or about his children. One thing fans do know is that Pereira’s two kids are both boys. He has one child called Alessandro Vidal Silva, and the other called Lohan Vidal Silva.
In a since deleted Instagram video of Pereira and his former lover Merle from December 2022, the 37-year-old left a comment on his own post. The Brazilian’s comment translated to: “Just to let the fans know I am divorced 1 year ago and live with my two children”.
It is evident now that Pereira has moved on from his previous relationship and has supposedly since been in two more. Given the fact that Pereira also lives with his two children, it is great to see that his divorce from his ex-wife hasn’t had a detrimental effect on his relationship with his children.
