Ticket sales for Saturday’s Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn rematch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium continue to struggle just days before fight night.
Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 tickets are still available in almost every section of the stadium, with resale site StubHub selling tickets 40% below face value.
This could be a reflection on the demise in British boxing interest as a whole.
Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 Ticket Sales Struggling
Given how truly encapsulating the first fight was back in April, you’d have thought that Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn ticket sales would sell out in an instant for their rematch.
Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 goes down at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, November 15, with a strong supporting undercard to match. The first fight was one of the best fights of the year and even one of the most thrilling contests in recent British boxing memory.
However, this hasn’t translated into an upturn in ticket sales for the rematch. In fact, there are still thousands of tickets available for Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 this Saturday night on various resale websites at reduced prices.
Chris Eubank Sr will be at the rematch this weekend, but interest from casual boxing fans has in fact decreased. The reason for this is unknown, but there are still thousands of tickets left just days before fight night.
This is alarming, given how incredible the first fight was and how ‘Next Gen’ and ‘The Destroyer’ are two of the biggest names in British boxing today.
The weather and time of year could be a factor, with some fans perhaps not too keen on sitting outdoors on a potentially cold and wet evening to watch boxing, when they can sit in the comfort of their own home and watch for £25 via DAZN PPV.
Another reason for struggling ticket sales could also be a general decline in interest in British boxing. Whether or not this is the case remains to be seen, but it could be playing a huge factor in the Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 ticket sales plummet.
As the below picture shows, there are tickets available in almost every single section and block of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 Tickets Available At 40% Below Face Value On Resale Sites
Traditionally, the majority of tickets for big UK events are bought through Ticketmaster. There are of course other sites, but Ticketmaster tends to be the go-to for concert goers, sports fans and much more.
Resale sites such as Viagogo and StubHub tend to have a bad reputation for dynamic pricing and totally inflating their costs well above face value, but not their Chris Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 tickets.
Alarmingly, the likes of StubHub and Viagogo are selling tickets for the Eubank Jr vs Benn rematch this weekend for lower than face value.
Not only that, but some tickets are even going for 40% below face value. In some areas of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, there is even a decrease of over 60% in ticket prices. This is obviously a reflection on poor Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 ticket sales, but could also be a reflection of the demise of British boxing interest of late.
The Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 rules state that ‘Next Gen’ will once again have to stick to a 10-pound rehydration clause, with some fans feeling this is harsh.
The fact that Eubank Jr was in hospital for two days after the first fight due to dehydration could be a reason not as many fans are interested in the rematch, hence the struggling ticket sales.
Tickets Available At Just £20 For Eubank Jr vs Benn Rematch
The first fight back in April was a sell-out in front of 67,000+ fans, but the rematch looks like it mightn’t get anywhere near as much support judging by these alarming ticket sales.
With a lot of Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 tickets on sale at 40% below face value at resale sites such as Viagogo and StubHub, some lucky fans will be able to get their hands on tickets for as little as £20.
There are currently tickets available for as cheap as £20 for EubankJr vs Benn 2. Albeit they are up in the ‘Gods’ and in the cheapest seats, but these same blocks of seats started at £80 per ticket when the fight was first announced. In this example, this is a 75% drop in price and a whopping £60 below face value.
What’s even more alarming is that this isn’t just the case in the cheaper seats, but everywhere in the stadium. There are no other tickets available for this price, but a lot have decreased in value and are being sold for around 40% below face value.
Although there has been plenty of good news during fight week such as Chris Eubank Jr’s girlfriend being pregnant with twin boys, struggling ticket sales and thousands of unsold seats is certainly bad news for all the promoters and fighters involved on the entire card.

Are The Poor Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 Ticket Sales A Reflection On The Decline Of British Boxing Interest Entirely?
Some fans have questioned whether the poor Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 ticket sales could be a reflection on British boxing as a whole.
With so many big fights involving British fighters now heading to Saudi Arabia, fans based in the UK are missing out on some of their heroes.
The likes of Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and many more big names from British shores haven’t fought in the UK in at least a year.
Add to that the fact that when big fights are staged in the UK, like both Eubank Jr vs Benn clashes, ticket sales in the seats furthest away from the ring are now at a starting price of £80.
This used to be a starting price of £40 just a matter of years ago, so stadium fights could be pricing UK fight fans out completely.
It is worth noting that the three biggest stars in British boxing currently remain ‘AJ’, Fury and Eubank Jr. All three of these fighters are extremely close to the end of their respective careers, so perhaps interest in boxing in the UK simply is on the decline.
That being said, there will still be thousands of people at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to watch the rematch on Saturday night, with the Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 press conference and weigh-ins also expected to be packed with fans and media.
Not to mention the fact that millions of people around the world will have the opportunity to watch the fight via DAZN PPV.
Although the Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 ticket sales aren’t as good as they were back in April, to say it’s a reflection on the decline in interest of British boxing might be too strong a statement at this particular moment in time.
