Novak Djokovic Sets Up Oldest Masters 1000 Semi-Final in History as He Marches Towards 100th ATP Tour Title

How many titles does Novak Djokovic have? Although the serial-winning Serbian is on the verge of completing a century of ATP titles, he is still a little ways of the all-time record.
Novak Djokovic Miami Open Run Shows He is Ready to Compete This Season
In the face of external chatter suggesting Novak Djokovic should pull the curtain down on a long and fruitful career, the soon-to-be 38-year-old is producing some truly nostalgic performances.
The most successful man in tennis history is yet to drop a set at the Miami Open; a tournament he has not played at since 2019 but has won six times — one more and he will surpass Andre Agassi as its all-time title holder.
Djokovic’s uptick in form in Florida has come from nowhere after a sluggish start to 2025, first dropping out of his beloved Australian Open through injury before crashing out of Indian Wells in his first match.
The man himself has admitted he is no longer able to appear at as many events as he would like, and instead will cherrypick the biggest titles on the Tour in an attempt to add to his all-time Grand Slam title haul.
For now, his breathless run in Miami is the perfect preparation for the start of clay season. Just two matches stand between him and another career title, having failed to win ATP silverware in 2024, despite clinching Olympic gold in Paris.
After dispatching the in-form Sebastian Korda in the last eight, Djokovic has set up the oldest Masters 1000 semi-final of all time against 33-year-old Grigor Dimitrov, who reached the final last year. The Bulgarian has a grim record against Djokovic over the years, winning just once in 13 meetings.
With the likes of Jannik Sinner serving a three-month doping ban, Carlos Alcaraz suffering an early exit and recent Indian Wells winner Jack Draper failing to find his feet in Miami, Djokovic has a clear route to the title.
How Many Titles Does Novak Djokovic Have?
According to UK betting sites, Djokovic is warmly favoured to add a seventh Miami Open to his record-equalling haul, which would bring is overall ATP titles tally to three figures.
100 titles, which includes 24 Grand Slams and two separate Golden Career Masters — the only man in history to ever achieve it even once — would be a fitting round number for arguably tennis’ greatest ever competitor.
While 100 titles would be a staggering feat, it still leaves Djokovic trailing behind two other players in terms of career titles.
Who Has the Most Titles in Tennis?
Although Novak’s all-time Grand Slam record of 24 — tied with Margaret Court — will remain intact for many years to come, time is certainly running out to catch the leading pack when it comes to overall singles titles.
In terms of men’s singles events, Djokovic trails two players.
