Joe Joyce has revealed that he is willing to face Tyson Fury and bring the Gypsy King back to boxing following his retirement from the sport.

Joe Joyce Calls Tyson Fury Out After Gypsy King’s Retirement

Following two consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury announced that he would be retiring from the sport of boxing.

This news was shocking but also left fans skeptical, as the Gypsy King has ‘retired’ from the sport a few times and returned just a few months later.

However, this time it seems he has decided to call it quits permanently as there has not been any follow up or possible fight news since.

One person who is clearly skeptical over Fury’s departure is British heavyweight icon, Joe Joyce, who believes the former world champion will get bored.

Joyce said (Via FightHub TV): “I’m sure he’ll get bored and come back.”

Fury’s legacy in the world of boxing is hard to ignore, beating the likes of Dillian Whyte, Derek Chisora, Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder.

However, one fighter that he has never gone toe-to-toe with is Joe Joyce, who has been on a rather steep decline in recent times.

Joyce was 16-0 and tipped to be a true great at heavyweight, however, following consecutive defeats to Zhilei Zhang and loss to Derek Chisora – Joyce’s stock is the lowest its ever been.

His name among the best heavyweights in boxing began to dwindle and he too was also flirting with retirement, but Joyce is set to return to the ring against Patrick Korte on March 1st 2025.

If this fight goes to plan, then Joyce has already agreed his next bout, which would take place almost a month after – as he takes on Dillian Whyte.

The Juggernaut is clearly full of confidence, as when he was asked about the possibility of facing Fury on his return to the ring he was more than keen.

Joyce said (Via Fight Hub TV): “I’ll fight him if he wants it.”

However, if Fury does decide to make his comeback from retirement then boxing fans will expect it to be against one man – Anthony Joshua.
