Former World Youth Champion and world ranked number 15 Josh Rock has teamed up with Target Darts after signing a multi-year deal with the company.
Josh Rock Signs With Target Darts
Target are undoubtedly one of the leading darts brands in the world right now. Not only is teenage sensation Luke Littler one of their leading players, but the legendary Phil Taylor also signed with Target for the final few years of his career before retiring.
Now, Josh Rock has become Target’s latest signing. The Northern Irishman joins Team Target following his stint with Mission Darts. Now, ‘Rocky’ has signed a multi-year deal with Target as a brand ambassador and one of their leading players.
The former World Youth Champion gained his PDC Tour card a few years ago, and has steadily risen his way up the PDC Order of Merit to number 15 as of today. He has even overtaken former world champion Michael Smith, who he is tied with in prize money.
At just 23-years-old, Rock has an extremely bright future ahead of him. His career is only really getting started. He can actually count himself unlucky in a sense at the emergence of ‘The Nuke’, or else there would most definitely be more eyes on his as the young star in darts.
That being said, Rock believes he can beat anyone on his day, as he has proved since gaining his PDC Tour card in 2022. The signing of Rock from Target is a statement of intent that the darts brand are here to take over and dominate the sport for years to come.

‘Rocky’ Teams Up With Luke Littler, Rob Cross And Co
In signing with Target Darts, Josh Rock teams up with several world class players from the darting world. None more so than reigning World Darts Championship winner and teenage sensation Luke Littler.
‘The Nuke’ is currently the biggest player signed to Target, alongside some other elite players. Former world champion Rob Cross is also with Target, as is Stephen Bunting, Chris Dobey, Nathan Aspinall and Dimitri van den Bergh to name but a few.
Phil Taylor also remains a Target player, having signed with the darts brand a few years before his retirement. Rock has become one of Target’s leading players straight away, and is their sixth best player now according to the PDC Order of Merit.

‘Rocky’ would have something different to say about that however. The Northern Irishman firmly believes he and Target teammate Luke Littler could dominate the sport for years to come, perhaps even meeting in the World Darts Championship Final on more than one occasion in the future.
The signing of Rock is a statement of intent from Target, who have quite the stable of talent right now. If Rock can keep himself grounded and continue on his upward trajectory, there is no reason why he can’t win various major darts titles as a Target player. Time will tell if he does just that.
