Paddy Pimblett vs Ilia Topuria will officially headline UFC 324 in the first Paramount+ show on January 24 next year.
The UFC Lightweight Title will be on the line as Pimblett gets his first shot at UFC gold with Topuria attempting to make a successful first defence of his 155-pound crown.

It has been confirmed that Ilia Topuria vs Paddy Pimblett will headline UFC 324 on January 10 in what will be the UFC’s first numbered card to kickstart their new broadcast deal with streaming giants Paramount+.
According to multiple sources, Paddy Pimblett vs Ilia Topuria will headline UFC 324 on January 24. Although unconfirmed by UFC President Dana White himself, it looks like the UFC 324 main event will see the UFC Lightweight Title up for grabs between the champion Topuria and bitter rival Pimblett.
Topuria vs Pimblett was confirmed for UFC 324 on January 10 last month, but it now seems that the first UFC Paramount+ show has been pushed back two weeks and will now take place on Saturday, January 24.
An official announcement is rumoured to be imminent from Dana White himself, with both the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles both rumoured to host UFC 324.
The UFC have reportedly requested an event permit at both venues for January 24, with the T-Mobile Arena now the front-runner to stage the super-fight between ‘El Matador’ and ‘The Baddy’.
Topuria was last seen knocking out future Hall of Famer Charles Oliveira in one round at UFC 317, winning the UFC Lightweight Title at the first time of asking and extending his unbeaten MMA record to 17-0 in the process.
Pimblett on the other hand hasn’t fought since April, where he stopped Michael Chandler in three rounds at UFC 314. Since then, the Liverpudlian has been calling for a shot at Topuria and his 155-pound belt, and it seems he has been granted his wish at UFC 324 early next year.

Who Will Be The Pimblett vs Topuria Favourite At UFC 324?
Ilia Topuria vs Justin Gaethje was confirmed for UFC 324 previously, but it seems that Paddy Pimblett is the chosen one to get the next UFC Lightweight Title shot against ‘El Matador’ on January 24.
Pimblett vs Topuria is expected to go down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada early next year in the UFC’s first numbered card as part of their brand new multi-billion dollar broadcast deal with Paramount+.
Regarding who price-setters will favour for the match-up, it will be the champion Topuria who goes in as the UFC 324 main event pre-fight favourite to beat the #6 ranked lightweight contender Pimblett.
The 28-year-old boasts a perfect MMA record of 17-0, which already includes three emphatic knockout wins over UFC legends and future Hall of Fame fighters Alexander Volkanovski, Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira.
Although Pimblett vs Topuria will mark just the Spanish-Georgian’s second fight at 155-pounds, he will be priced as a fairly convincing favourite given how dominant he has been of late inside the octagon.
Add to that the fact that Topuria’s wife Gieorgina Badell has filed for divorce and is pursuing him for 50% of his assets. This will have added fuel to the fire of ‘El Matador’, who will be looking to make a statement in his clash with fierce rival Pimblett at UFC 324.
