Phil Taylor has given Luke Littler some financial advice after the teenager has made a meteoric rise to the top of darts.

Phil Taylor Gives Luke Littler Huge Warning After Teens Success

The ‘Power’ has been a vocal figure in the world of darts following his retirement in 2018 and has now given the Nuke some tips.

Littler is going to face a huge tax bill after earning around £1 million in his second year as a professional darts player – with the tax rate sitting at 45%.

This means that the teenage sensation will lose £500,000 and Taylor believes Littler should open up two bank accounts to help this issue.

Regarded as the best darts player of all-time, Phil Taylor has accumulated a vast knowledge of what to do when you earn a considerable amount of money from darts.

In a recent interview, the 64-year-old spoke about Littler’s rise to the top and how he needs to deal with his finances going forward.

Phil Taylor said: “Make sure you look after your money. Two bank accounts – one in one, and half in another. So that’s your tax. That’s what I always used to do.

“Try to start investing your money, so if anything happens, if you fall down and break your arm or something, you’ve got something to fall back on.”

Littler has been known to spend his winnings, purchasing several holidays, gifts for family and a large amount towards video games.

The Nuke is also a major presence on social media, posting to Instagram and X regularly, while also streaming on Twitch.

Phil Taylor beleives the teenager should hand his social media accounts to other people and divert his primary focus to darts.

The Power said: “Keep off social media,” Taylor warned. Don’t bother with it. Let somebody else do it for you. You don’t need to read things because it can upset.”
