Ryder Cup Equipment: What Clubs and Balls Will Each Player Be Using At The Ryder Cup 2025?

All 24 players will use their own unique Ryder Cup equipment for this year’s biennial golf event, including a wide range of clubs, balls and bags.

But just what clubs will the Team Europe and Team USA players be using at the Ryder Cup 2025 at Bethpage Black?

Here is what clubs and balls each player will be using at the Ryder Cup 2025 and which Ryder Cup equipment is historically the most successful.

What Equipment Do Players Use At The Ryder Cup?

When it comes to golf equipment, it’s fair to say that there are several high-calibre brands. Whether it be Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Srixon or Ping to name but a few, all of the world’s best golfers use whatever equipment suits them best.

It comes as no surprise to learn that all of the 24 players competing at the 45th Ryder Cup will use their normal equipment.

This is with the exception of a bag and their apparel of course, which will be fully Team Europe or Team USA centred respectively.

But when it comes to clubs and golf balls, the players will use the equipment they normally do during regular PGA Tour and DP World Tour events.

When it comes to Ryder Cup equipment, players will use their standard clubs – the ones they are comfortable with.

Of course, there may be some modifications and specification update (eg. the Europe stars or US flag on clubs). However, all 24 of the Ryder Cup players will use their normal golf equipment.

For example, career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy uses purely TaylorMade clubs. So, for three three days of Ryder Cup golf from Bethpage Black in New York, the Northern Irishman will still use his normal clubs.

A lot of players use a cocktail of different brands. Take reigning US open champion JJ Spaun as an example. He uses a mixture of Srixon, TaylorMade, Titleist and Cleveland clubs.

Some players like to use one brand for their full bag, with others mixing and matching to suit them. It’s worth noting that a players’ clubs and golf ball selection can depend on their endorsement deal with certain manufacturers.
