CoinPoker’s Battle of Malta Online series is underway, and the opening stretch of the $30 million festival has already produced its first major champions.
Following a headline-grabbing first weekend built around the $1,000,000 guaranteed CoinMillion, the series continues with a run of flagship tournaments, physical trophies, and 100 live packages to the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition still up for grabs.
CoinMillion Headlines CoinPoker’s Opening Week
The $215 buy-in CoinMillion wrapped up the opening week of Battle of Malta Online, delivering the largest prize pool of the series so far.
A player going by “monc” came out on top of the $1,000,000 guaranteed field to take home a first-place prize of $121,500, along with a physical Battle of Malta Online trophy and a matching digital version for their CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet.
The final table produced plenty of drama before that outcome was settled.
🏆 We Have A New CoinMillion Champion!

Several other players walked away with significant paydays from the CoinMillion field:
- 1st: monc – $121,500.00
- 2nd: n7v7rcapp7d – $77,100.00
- 3rd: JohnnieTsunami – $55,800.00
- 4th: IdiOtsudaDavai – $40,600.00
- 5th: LappyPoker7 – $29,800.00
A deal was floated late in the tournament but turned down, and shortly after the request was rejected, JohnnieTsunami was eliminated. Given the tournament’s reception here and during World Poker Masters, a CoinPoker spokesperson indicated CoinMillion could become a recurring fixture on the platform’s calendar going forward.
The opening week also saw “shipitplz” take down the $55 buy-in Mini CoinMillion for $20,000, while other players have been using satellite paths to lock in seats for the bigger events still to come later in the schedule, including the Main Event.
More Champions Crowned Early In Battle Of Malta Online

What’s Still Ahead In CoinPoker’s $30 Million Festival
Several of the series’ biggest tournaments are still to come before Battle of Malta Online wraps up.
Players have already begun winning live packages to the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition through the Champions Trials leaderboard promotion, which awards tickets to a multi-stage live tournament simply by entering events each week. CoinPoker plans to hand out 50 more of these packages before the online series concludes. The live Battle of Malta Series itself runs from October 27 to November 4 with a $2,000,000 guarantee.

Value-focused players still have access to the $55 Main Challenger, which carries a $500,000 guarantee, one of the strongest guarantee-to-buy-in ratios anywhere in the festival. The $11 Main Crusader runs alongside it with a $100,000 guarantee for an even lower entry point. Both events run daily Day 1 flights at 17:30 UTC.
CoinMasters BTC High Roller

Regs Of The Round Table
The $530 Regs of the Round Table, with a $200,000 guarantee, is expected to draw a number of recognizable poker names, potentially including Bencb, Kelvin Kerber, Jeremy Ausmus, Patrick Leonard, and other CoinPoker ambassadors. Lower buy-in versions at $55 and $11 run alongside it with $75,000 and $20,000 guarantees respectively, and all three award trophies to their winners.
How To Get Involved In CoinPoker’s Battle Of Malta Online
Beyond the prize money, CoinPoker is offering plenty of ways for players to stay involved in the festival, from physical and digital trophy events to Champions Trials packages for the live Autumn Edition, all backed by daily satellites into the series’ biggest tournaments.
