Rita DeMichiel began as a contributing writer for Sportscasting in 2018. She has her associate’s degree in film and television production, with extensive coursework in journalism, from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
Rita and her husband are huge sports fans, which for her was somewhat inevitable given the fact that she grew up near Philadelphia. She enjoys keeping up with trending athletes, which are the fodder for her family dinner conversations.
