Earlier this week, Caesars Entertainment launched Horseshoe Online Casino in Pennsylvania, and now, the hotel and casino entertainment company is introducing its online gaming platform in West Virginia.

Caesars’ Horseshoe Online Casino is available in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and now West Virginia

Available slot games for Horseshoe Online Casino in West Virginia include 2x3x Horseshoe, Crabbin’ For Cash: Extra Big Splash, Golden Ram, and Quick Hit Blitz.

“The Horseshoe brand is anchored by a promise to put the player first,” said Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital Matt Sunderland.

“A brand with such a storied past deserves an online equivalent that pays respect to the legacy it has established in gaming, and that is what we’ve created with Horseshoe Online Casino.

“This launch reinforces our multi-brand online casino strategy by seamlessly bringing another one of our world-class Caesars brands into the palms of players’ hands.”

Online casinos launched in the Mountain State in 2020

West Virginia has an extensive history of gambling, including horse racing and land-based casinos.

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races and Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort are the two tracks in the state that feature year-round live racing action.

In March 2019, West Virginia lawmakers also passed the West Virginia Lottery Interactive Wagering Act. This law legalized online casinos in the Mountain State.

The first online casinos launched in 2020. Among the state’s 10 online casinos include BetMGM, BetRivers, Caesars, DraftKings, Fanatics, FanDuel, and Golden Nugget.

Penn Entertainment may also add the Hollywood Online Casino WV to the list early next year.

The West Virginia Lottery Commission (WVLC) oversees all licensed casinos to ensure a safe and fair gaming environment for players.

“The iLottery program allows players to participate completely from the comfort of their homes. … [It] adds a level of convenience for those who like to play.

“We are happy to also introduce our new loyalty program. … [West Virginia] is the first state to unveil iLottery, a new loyalty program, and brand-new website, all concurrently. We are extremely proud of our team as they have worked diligently to prepare for this launch.”
