NFL legend Rob Gronkowski has shared his thought’s on this year’s Super Bowl matchup, saying that a Kansas City Chiefs three-peat would be a ‘phenomenal feat’.

‘Phenomenal’ Chiefs impress Rob Gronkowski

The Kansas City Chiefs have made it to their fourth Super Bowl in the last five years, which on its own is an incredible accomplishment for the AFC franchise.

What is even more impressive though is that the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in three of those four games including the last two in a row which sets them up for a three-peat in 2025.

NFL legend turned pundit Rob Gronkowski shared his thoughts on this year’s Super Bowl matchup after the Championship games over the weekend, saying: “You’ve got to tip your hat to them.

“I mean, if the Chiefs three-peat, it’s history…you’ve got to give them credit for doing that,” Gronkowski continued. “They put in the work, they put in the time, the dedication, and the three-peat is just a phenomenal aspect to even do in any sport. It’s just incredible if they can pull it off.”

Praise from Gronkowski is of course some of the most valuable in football, with the future Hall of Famer a huge part of a Patriots dynasty between 2014 and 2019.

The Chiefs will undoubtedly go down as one of the NFL’s most impressive dynasty’s alongside that Patriots side if they win their third Super Bowl in a row this year, with the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones spearheading the team to success over the last few years.

High praise from Super Bowl icon Rob Gronkowski

Rob Gronkowski is debatably the greatest tight end to ever grace the NFL (although Travis Kelce is closing in on that title), with his partnership alongside Tom Brady bringing success to both New England and Tampa Bay.

‘Gronk’ won three Super Bowl’s with the Patriots between 2015 and 2019, before reuniting with Brady in Tampa Bay for one final title in 2021.

Across five Super Bowl appearances, Gronkowski recorded a total of 364 yards for five touchdowns, with the tight end lifting four Vince Lombardi trophies during a stellar career.
