The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend for the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard, as everyone continues to chase (no pun intended) Chase Elliott in the season-long points race. Elliott has vaulted to the top of the standings with three wins in his last five starts, but is he the betting favorite to win again at Indianapolis this Sunday?

No surprise here. Chase Elliott has been the most impressive driver in the NASCAR Cup Series all year long, and he’s the favorite to win the Verizon 200 this weekend at +340 odds ($100 bet wins $340).

Elliott heads to Indianapolis Motor Speedway on a scorching hot streak as he’s won three of the last five Cup Series races. He’s also coming off a win last weekend at Pocono. The Hendrick Motorsports star has more wins (four) and top-10 finishes (15) than any other driver in NASCAR’s top series this season. He currently sits atop the standings with 787 points through 26 events.

Elliott is arguably the best road-course driver in NASCAR right now, so it’s no surprise he’s favored to win his second straight race and his fourth in the last six weeks.
