An investigation has been launched after a computer and USB sticks containing Olympic security plans were stolen from a train at the Gare du Nord station.

It’s an investigation that the organizers of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games could have done without. According to BFMTV, “an employee of Paris City Hall filed a complaint on Monday, February 26, after noticing that his satchel had been stolen while he was boarding a train bound for Creil (Oise) from Paris’ Gare du Nord station.”

Among the 56-year-old engineer’s belongings were a work computer and two USB sticks containing “sensitive” information, such as security plans for the Olympic Games for Paris City Hall.
