Will Zalatoris
In 2021, Will Zalatoris was a no-name rookie fighting for full-time status on the PGA Tour. His life and career changed overnight when he finished runner-up to Hideki Matsuyama at the 2021 Masters in his first start at Augusta National Golf Club.
Since then, Zalatoris has quickly become one of the best players on the PGA Tour. He finished T6 or better in three of the four major championships in 2022, and he’s finished runner-up at the Masters, the PGA Championship, and the U.S. Open. Zalatoris earned his first PGA Tour win at the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship by defeating Sepp Straka in a playoff.
Willy Z is known on the golf course for his impeccable ball-striking and wonky putting stroke. The short game doesn’t always show up in tournaments, but when it does, Zalatoris always finds himself near the top of the leaderboard.
The sky is the limit for this talented youngster.
