AC Milan are reportedly eyeing up a move to sign Marcus Rashford on loan this month.

The 27-year-old hasn’t featured for Manchester United in their last five games. He has also been left out of the squad of four of those occasions by Ruben Amorim.

To add to this, Rashford will also miss United’s huge clash with Liverpool on Sunday. The reasons for his absence is down to illness.

It has left Rashford’s United future in serious doubt, especially after the player admitted he is ‘ready for a new challenge’ away from Old Trafford.

It is thought United are opening to selling Marcus Rashford this month should they receive offers northwards of £40million.

However, Rashford’s reported £325,000-a-week wages will prove to be a major stumbling block for any potential suitors.

And according to Relevo, AC Milan are considering a move to sign Rashford on loan until the summer.

The report suggests that Rashford’s former United team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic could have a say in brining him to the San Siro.

Ibrahimovic is one of the club football chiefs at Milan and has a say in their transfer business.

PSG and a series of Saudi Pro League clubs are understood to remain interested in signing Rashford. For now, the England winger looks set to stay at Old Trafford.
