The latest Casemiro transfer news has revealed that Roma have inquired about signing the Manchester United midfielder.
Casemiro has endured a largely unforgettable time at Old Trafford since signing for the Red Devils in 2022. His last appearance for the club came in the 2-0 loss to Newcastle in December.
Having spent the last six games on the bench, the Brazilian is understood to be seeking a new venture before the January transfer window shuts.
According to Sky Sports, United would prefer to sell the 32-year-old. However, no potential suitors have come in with a suitable offer so far.
Therefore, a temporary switch away is viewed as a more viable option. Since boss Ruben Amorim took over the reigns of the Premier League strugglers, Casemiro has only made four starts.

Casemiro Transfer News Reveals Roma Interest
As per recent reports from Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy (@MelissaReddy), Casemiro is open to exploring the opportunity of joining AS Roma.
Although Manchester United would ideally like to sell the Brazilian, the Red Devils are happy to negotiate a loan deal until the end of the season.
The Serie A side view the 32-year-old defensive midfielder as a potential replacement for Leandro Paredes. The Argentine World Cup winner looks set for a move back to Boca Juniors.
If Paredes’ move does materialise this month, the Yellow and Reds will likely ramp up their interest in Casemiro and aim to strike a deal with United.
