Luke Littler has criticised PDC referee, Kirk Bevins, following some notable crowd interference at Night 2 of the Premier League.

Luke Littler Slams PDC Referee After Crowd Issues In Glasgow

The Nuke clinched his first triumph in the 2025 PDC Premier League after beating Rob Cross, Michael van Gerwen and Luke Humphries in Glasgow.

However, the final against Humphries has been surrounded with controversy following the crowd’s involvement when botht players were throwing.

A handful of supporters were whistling during the match, which was largely in the direction of Humphries and rarely during Littler’s approach.

Humphries was visibly frustrated by the distraction, often voicing his annoyance to referee Kirk Bevins who went on to tell the crowd to stop whistling.

Previously, Bevins had been criticised for failing to step in when members of the crowd are taking it too far, however, this time Littler believes the PDC referee made things worse.

Littler said: “Yeah, obviously, there was a few in particular that were doing itwhen Luke Humphries was throwing.

“Kirk told them to be quiet and it got even worse, and then I missed doubles and Luke breaks at 5-4. I’m just like, ‘Kirk, you’ve made it worse for me there, I’m 5-4 down.’ But I broke back and held my throw very strongly again.

“If it’s the same (outcome) as what it was when Kirk said it, then obviously just leave it. Obviously, they’ve got to step in at some point and say something. But yeah, that was pretty bad, but I got the win.”

The Nuke needed a strong performance following his early exit from night one and was pleased with his overall performance in Glasgow

The reigning Premier League champion said: “During that I was always fourth, fifth, every week and I was picking up the points. But to pick up maximum points on week two is really good.”
