Watch Nottingham Forest Vs Arsenal highlights as the two sides drew 0-0 in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Gunners’ rapidly fading title hopes took another blow with a frustrating stalemate at the City Ground.

With the points shared, neither side was able to close the gap on leaders Liverpool.

Second-placed Arsenal are 13 points adrift of the Reds, having played one game more.

The title looks to be heading to Merseyside with minimal opposition in the closing stages of the season.

Wednesday’s draw follows Arsenal’s home defeat to West Ham, with their title challenge now effectively over.

While Mikel Arteta asserted his side would keep fighting, it would take Liverpool imploding in a near-impossible fashion to give the Gunners a sniff.

With numerous injuries – including Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz, Arsenal are relying on Leandro Trossard and Mikel Merino up front.

The pair played some nice combinations but offered no killer instinct going forward.

Arsenal’s biggest opportunity came when Riccardo Calafiori hit the most in the first half, while Merino saw an effort saved by Matz Sels in the Forest goal.

Forest only managed one shot on target, with Chris Wood shut down all evening.

When he did eventually get a shot away, he was denied well by Arsenal keeper David Raya.

With 48 points, they remain third in the table, two above fifth-placed Chelsea.

Next up, Forest are in FA Cup action on Monday 3 March. They host Ipswich Town, who lost 3-2 at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have a UEFA Champions League tie as their next fixture.

The Gunners are away to Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday, 4 March.

They then play Manchester United away from home in the Premier League before the return leg of their European tie on 12 March.
