Prince William has expressed frustration over the UK’s 3pm football TV blackout, calling the long-standing restriction “irritating” for fans who want to watch live matches.

“The biggest issue at home is trying to find it on TV sometimes because of the Saturday 3pm blackout, which is irritating. It’s really frustrating that we still can’t watch our own team’s Premier League match in this country, yet you can go abroad and see any game at any time.”
