Frank Smith Matchroom Wife

Who is Chris Eubank Jr’s sister? Is she the wife of Matchroom Boxing CEO Frank Smith?

These are the questions boxing fans are asking ahead of the Eubank Jr vs Benn rematch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on November 15.

Who Is Chris Eubank Jr’s Sister?

Chris Eubank Jr’s sister is Emily Eubank, born on 19 April 1994, now 31-years-old.

Emily is a regular attendee of her brother’s fights, and she’ll no doubt be supporting him against Conor Benn in their highly-anticipated rematch.

However, she does have a strong connection with a member of Benn’s camp. So although Emily will be cheering her brother on to victory, her husband will be doing the complete opposite.

Some of the Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 rules don’t exactly go in favour of ‘Next Gen’, and having his sister in a long-term relationship with a bitter rival of his is another aspect of the fight that doesn’t exactly go in his favour either.

Talk about an interesting dynamic!

Emily Eubank Is The Wife Of Frank Smith – Matchroom Boxing CEO

Emily Eubank is in a long-term relationship with Frank Smith – the CEO of Matchroom Boxing and Conor Benn’s promoter.

This means that Smith is in fact the brother-in-law of Chris Eubank Jr. As if the Eubank Jr vs Benn build-up wasn’t already big enough, throw this bombshell into the mix and it makes the fight even more intriguing.

Smith and Eubank have officially been together since November 2016, first meeting a year earlier at Eubank Jr’s fight against Tony Jeter in Sheffield.

The Matchroom Boxing chief admitted that Emily once called him an ‘a**hole’ in the build-up to Eubank Jr and Benn’s cancelled 2022 bout after listening in to one of his conversations on the phone.

“I know the Eubank character from Emily, so I know the way they are, and I’ve spent a lot of time with Conor since he’s turned pro,” Smith told The George Groves Boxing Club podcast.

“Trying to get the fight over the line was the point where I probably got in the most trouble.

“I had to say things I’d say any other time, but obviously my missus is next door listening to me calling me an a**hole.

“Sometimes I have to say, ‘wait a minute I’ve just got to leave the room’ or be like ‘right, Emily’s in the car, so I can’t talk yet.’

“This is a fight that obviously means so much because of the history, but for me I’m probably a bit too close to it, to be honest,” revealed Smith.

When Did Frank Smith Marry Chris Eubank Jr’s Sister Emily?

Although many people think that Emily Eubank is Frank Smith’s wife, the pair aren’t actually married just yet.

They have been dating for over nine years now and are in fact engaged, but as of yet the pair haven’t tied the knot officially.

Their wedding plans could well be underway, but depending on the outcome of the Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn rematch on November 15, the wedding could be pushed back further!

Eubank Jr vs Benn Press Conference: What Happened With Frank Smith?

Speaking at the press conference live from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in April ahead of the first Eubank Jr vs Benn fight, Eddie Hearn, consistently being interrupted by Eubank Jr, said:

“I’m going to switch it up, I’m going to let someone else speak on my behalf. I’m going to introduce you to scumbag number two. Frank Smith, come and take over.”

Smith, to a resounding applause from members of the media, made his way to sit alongside Benn and his team, across the stage from his brother-in-law, Eubank Jr.

Eubank Jr was quick to say: “Frank, if Eddie’s not speaking, do you think you’re going to get a word in?”

Unsurprisingly, Smith didn’t get much of a word in, and the fighters remained largely reserved for the remainder of the conference.

Now ahead of the hotly-anticipated rematch, Frank Smith is once again in the awkward position of wanting his brother-in-law to get knocked out by his man Conor Benn.

Smith’s wife Emily Eubank on the other hand, will obviously be cheering her brother on to victory.
