Betting suggests Nicolas Jackson will remain in London beyond this summer, despite reported interest from Manchester United.
Chelsea Favoured To Retain Nicolas Jackson According To Transfer Odds
Despite being heavily linked with an exit amid Chelsea’s activity in the transfer market, Nicolas Jackson is favoured to remain at Stamford Bridge, according to his latest transfer odds.
The Blues are reportedly open to allowing the forward to leave this summer following the big-money signings of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
They are also looking to add another attacker to their ranks in RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons.
Chelsea are said to value Jackson at between £80m and £100m.
Manchester United are the most recent club to be linked with the 24-year-old, with the likes of AC Milan, Napoli, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Barcelona also mentioned.
Several clubs in Saudi Arabia are also believed to be interested in the ex-Villarreal man with mega wages likely available.
However, UK betting sites have him odds-on to remain at Stamford Bridge.
He has a whopping eight years remaining on his contract in the English capital, with his deal running until the summer of 2033, therefore the Blues are under no pressure to sell.
The striker totalled 13 goals and six assists in 37 matches for Enzo Maresca’s side last term.

Which Club Could Nicolas Jackson Join?
With Liverpool signing Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt for £79m and Arsenal close to landing Viktor Gyokeres for around £64m, it seems unlikely that the pair will move for Jackson.
Manchester United, who have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer, are being mooted as one of his likeliest destinations if he does move on, meanwhile.
As previously mentioned, the Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for the forward in recent days, but they are also being credited with interest in Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.
Bookies have the Old Trafford club at around 6/1 to secure Jackson’s signature this summer. Newcastle, who lost out on Ekitike and could yet lose Alexander Isak, are also 6/1 to sign him.
Following in the betting market, Villa are priced at 8/1 to land the Senegal international.
A move to Villa Park would make sense should Watkins depart before the end of the transfer window, however reports suggest that the England international is not for sale.
Elsewhere, a transfer to any Saudi Arabian club is rated at 14/1, while a move across London to West Ham is valued at 16/1. Moves to AC Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Napoli are at 20/1.
If he does opt to stay put though, he will have to fight for his place in the lineup.
Based on the Club World Cup, it seems as though Pedro will be Maresca’s first choice, with England U21 international Delap also ahead of Jackson in the pecking order.
Chelsea kickstart their season on Sunday, 17 August, as they host Crystal Palace in their opening day Premier League fixture. Before then, they face Bayer Leverkusen and Milan in pre-season.
