The DP World Tour heads to Crans-Montana in Switzerland this week for the European Tour – with a stack of players out to impress Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald ahead of the up-coming final team selection.
SportsCasting are on hand to provide both outright and each-way European Masters betting tips as well as in-depth analysis, predictions, a preview and the latest betting odds.
European Masters Golf Betting Tips: Have Fitzpatrick and Saddier In Your Corner
With a purse of $3.25m and the winner taking a $541,775 share of that – there’s plenty at stake at the European Masters this weekend.
However, for some players there is more on the line than just the money- with Ryder Cup places still on offer.
European captain Luke Donald will be tuning into the Alps action with interest as he’s set to finalise his team on Monday with his wildcard picks.
2021 European Masters champ Rasmus Hojgaard booked his Ryder Cup place with a 13th in last week’s British Masters – but his brother Nicolai is still hoping to impress Donald.
Both are in action at Crans this weekend and with Nicolai Hojgaard coming here off the back of a tied-2nd at the Belfrey last week, he’ll be popular with the golf betting sites at 16/1.
With another runner here – Alex Noren – one place better and winning the Masters last week. Noren also has form in this event too – winning in 2016.
However, the word is that Nicolai Hojgaard and two-time winner of this week’s event Matt Fitzpatrick are vying for one Ryder Cup wildcard place.
And with that in mind, we can expect both to be bringing their A-games to Crans this weekend, but with a proven pedigree in this event the Englishman MATT FITZPATRICK is just favoured.
We’ve also a bigger-priced 50/1 shot to look out for in ADRIEN SADDIER – a player that comes into the European Masters rested and already a winner on the DP World Tour this season.
2025 European Masters Golf Tips:
- Matt Fitzpatrick @ 8/1ย
- Adrien Saddier @ 50/1 (e/w)
European Masters Golf Tips 2025 Explained

Matt Fitzpatrick @ 8/1ย
World number 34 Matt Fitzpatrick will be hoping to impress Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald this weekend and secure a wildcard place for the big clash with the USA next month.
The betting sites think that Fitzpatrick can deliver too – making him the market leader in the European Masters betting before a ball has been hit on Thursday.
Fitzpatrick also heads into the four days in fair form with a tied 6th in last week’s British Masters, with only a poor final day +2 round costing him.
He ended up six shots (-10) off the leader Alex Noren (-16), but Fitzpatrick heads to Crans this week as a previous two-time winner and that will be a huge advantage.
Fitzy landed this DP World Tour event in back-to-back seasons in 2017 and 2018 – winning both times in a play-off. Plus was also runner-up in 2015.
Yes, 12 months ago he only managed a tied 27th, with fellow Englishman Matt Wallace taking the title.
But the year before (2023) he was third (-16) and so with a lot to play for – despite the 8/1 odds looking a tad on the skinny side, we’ll know Fitzpatrick will mean business this weekend with that coveted Ryder Cup wildcard place looming over this head.
Adrien Saddier @ 50/1
Our other European Masters golf tip is for Frenchman Adrien Saddier.
The world number 134th hit a classy 66 on his final round of the Italian Open to win that DP World Tour event back in June.
And has decent form playing in Switzerland – winning on the Challenge Tour in 2026 and only losing out in a play-off in the Rolex Trophy in 2017.
He also played a lot of golf in the country as an amateur so will have more experience than most with the Crans contours.
Plus, this week’s course is only down the road from where Saddier was born in the south-east of France.
He was seventh in the European Masters in 2021 and in 2023 managed to end in 13th.
The 33 year-old has also only been in action once since making his Major debut in the Open in July (52nd) – when playing in the Danish Golf Championship and ending a tied 24th.
But, at a course he knows well and a country he’s played a stack of golf in, Adrien Saddier also looks worthy of an e/w play at around 50/1 with the betting firms.
Defending Champion Matt Wallace Back For Moreย

Another popular European Masters golf tip this week for many will be Matt Wallace, who won the event last year.
Wallace saw off Spain’s Alfredo Garcia Heredia in a play-off 12 months ago and was also runner-up in 2022.
The world 86th is a best-priced 25/1 to successfully defend his title but will need to leave the form of last week’s British Masters behind.
He was only a tied 33rd at the Belfrey last weekend (-4) after a poor +5 on the final day saw him fall back down the leaderboard.
Last year’s European Masters hero will be looking to become the first back-to-back winner since Matt Fitzpatrick in 2017/18.
