Liverpool star Florian Wirtz has fallen in price in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) for a third time this season after blanking in a fifth consecutive Gameweek.
Florian Wirtz Falls In Price In FPL
After another disappointing showing in Gameweek 5, Liverpool summer signing Florian Wirtz has fallen in price in FPL once again. The German is now valued at £8.2m in the popular game.
It’s the third time that he’s dropped in price this season, having initially been priced at £8.5m.

The likes of Morgan Rogers (£6.9m), Hugo Ekitike (£8.7m), Tijjani Reijnders (£5.6m) and more have fallen in price alongside him in the latest FPL price changes for Gameweek 6.
Wirtz joined the Reds in a deal worth upwards of £116m in the summer, and he has now failed to register a goal involvement in each of his first five Premier League appearances.
He registered an assist in the Community Shield loss to Crystal Palace last month, and he also came close to scoring and assisting against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last week.
The attacking midfielder has had no luck in the league however, and after failing to contribute in front of goal in his first four games, he dropped to the bench for last week’s Merseyside derby.
Wirtz came on for the final 29 minutes, but once again, he failed to make an impact.
Across his first five games in the English top-flight, he has amassed a total of 10 points.
It comes as a huge disappointment to not only Liverpool fans, but also to those that have selected him in FPL, as he arrived in England from the Bundesliga with great expectations.
Of course, he has plenty of time to turn things around with 33 Gameweeks remaining in 2025-26, however early signs do not bode well for the ex-Bayer Leverkusen man.
Where Does Wirtz Rank Among Most Expensive FPL Players?
Wirtz started the season among the top 10 most expensive players in FPL.
This is no longer the case, however, as his latest price drop has seen him fall out of the top 10.
Of course, his Reds teammate Mohamed Salah leads the way as the most expensive player in the game, closely followed by Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Alexander Isak, Cole Palmer and Bukayo Saka make up the remainder of the top five.

| 1. | Mohamed Salah | Liverpool | £14.5m |

Where Does Wirtz Rank Among Most-Owned FPL Players?
Wirtz was also among the most-owned players in FPL at the start of the 2025-26 campaign.
Again, this is no longer the case, with the German consistently among the most transferred-out players in the game. He is currently the third most transferred-out player for Gameweek 6.
Now boasting an ownership percentage of 13.7%, there are 27 Premier League stars ahead of him in the list of the most-owned players in FPL.
The highest-owned player remains Chelsea’s Joao Pedro (67.3%). Salah (51.0%), Antoine Semenyo (47.7%), Haaland (43.7%) and Martin Dubravka (34.3%) follow the Brazilian.
